Description
On offer a pair of Beatles original Red Parlophones, not the greatest copies but here goes!
PLEASE PLEASE ME - 1N / 1N stampers, MPT Tax code on the centre. Bar light spindle marks the labels are clean, and the vinyl is a clean shiny VG, and it plays rather nicely. Problem is the record has a considerable warp, which I hope comes through on the 'teacup' pic (!), but it doesn't affect the play at all. The 45 comes with proper period Parlophone sleeve. Bar the warp a quite presentable copy of the 2nd Parlophone single.
LOVE ME DO - 1N / 1N stampers, no tax code on label. Boy this has seen better days, the record is FAIR only, very heavily marked, seen heavy use and poor storage. However despite surface noise, pops and crackles the music actually plays OK with no distortion (though there is one momentary 'bump' on 'P.S I Love You'), so despite being mistreated in its 51 year life at least it was played with a decent needle! On the B side label is a biro 'Lynne' and a light area of tape residue. This record is also warped but not too badly, and again it doesn't affect the play at all. The 45 comes in a proper period Parlophone sleeve.
Overseas welcome.
