I’m not a Beatles expert so here’s the details:
* Recorded and issued in 1963, this LP is a first issue on a black label with yellow print on the Parlophone label.
* On Black & Yellow PARLOPHONE PMC 1202 Mono
* “THE PARLOPHONE CO. LTD”….. print on the label
* “Recording First Published 1963” …..print on the label
* No ‘MONO’ printed on labels.
* Side One Matrix number XEX 421-1N
* Side Two Matrix number XEX 422-1N
* KT tax code stamp on side two.
* 170g vinyl weight
* ‘Flipback’ sleeve printed and made by Ernest J.Day & Co.Ltd.London
This 59-year old LP has a few light lines, nothing too serious and plays OK. Crackle on run-in but the music cuts through fine. I rate VG++ or better.
Thick card ‘flipback’ sleeve. A little age-wear and marks to the back, but there’s NO rips,splits,cut outs or writing. Small corner dinks, nothing too serious. Pen price written on back (32/-) (one pound twelve shillings)
Complete with ‘Important Take Good Care…..” inner sleeve .
