Description

The Beatles Revolver
Parlophone PMC 7009
1966 UK Mono LP
matrix numbers: XEX 605-2/XEX 606-3
stampers LT4/LO1

It's always a pleasure to discover a record in this exceptional condition especially when it's one of the greats as is the landmark Beatles Revolver, Superb original LP in Near Mint conditon this has been very carefully looked after from new and it shows - vinyl is immaculate, held up to a strong light vinyl has a deep clear glossy black lustre - you would be hard pushed to find another one like this, interestingly label 2 shows the 'Dr. Robert' spelling and has a distinct 'ridge' which can be seen in the picture similar to the Decca contract pressings but 10mm in from edge which I've never seen before on the many Revolver albums I've seen over the years, side 1 also has this but it's not so pronounced, certainly unique to find,
The sleeve is a beauty, perfect spine square corners, crisp clear lamination clean facings with no unwanted writing scribbles or scuffs, It's a pleasure to look at and to handle, as you would expect from a record in this condition both sides play to a high standard comes complete with original white 'patent applied for' inner ,
This is a fine original example and a gem for the serious Beatles collector ,
