Description
On the Stereo Yellow/Black Parlophone label from 1966 (PCS 7009). On offer here is an original first press Revolver in its original rare Stereo state and in all its glory. The labels have: 'The Gramophone Co. Ltd.', 'P 1966' and 'Sold In The U.K' label texts, which varifies this as a genuine first press Stereo copy of this album. This is by far one of the best copies of this album i have seen in ages. Stereo Beatles albums are getting increasingly hard to find in this stunning condition and simpily never turn up like this. This has the label text 'Doctor Robert' instead of the more common 'Dr. Robert'. This is a superb copy. A REALISTIC START PRICE AND NO RESERVE. Happy Bidding.
Sleeve: NM: Due to only a few small laminate creases along the spine edge which have browned in time (See pic). Printed by 'Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd'. This is in visually stunning condition with sharp corners and straight edges this is one of the best examples of this classic Stereo sleeve i have ever seen.
Disc: NM++: Due to hardly any, very light, hardly noticable surface markings that have no affect on the sound at all. The Tax code is 'KT' and the Matrix numbers are 'YEX 605-1' and 'YEX 606-1', the stamper codes are '3HM' & '4PM'. This is a stunning condition Revolver and looks to have only had minimal play in its lifetime. This disc still has its original shine and is visually stunning.
Labels: Both labels are clean and tidy with only some faint spindal markings around the centre holes on each side.
Sound Quality: This is a fantastic sounding Stereo copy of Revolver, which usually turns up in unplayable states!!! This album sounds great with no distortion, and is crisp and clear throughout. A really great sounding copy of this classic piece of sixties Psych.
