Description

From 1966, comes The Beatles with Revolver on Parlophone PMC7009 MONO. Scarce MONO 1966 RARE FIRST PRESSING! It has the Gramophone perimeter edge print, the date of 1966 on the label and the "Sold in UK" disclaimer on the label. On Side 2,the matrix is 606-1. The matrix number on Side 1 is 605-2.There is a different mix of the song Tomorrow Never Knows, which was ONLY available on the first day of this albums' release! Starting with the second day of release came the regular version that we are all familiar with. When you first hear THIS version, you know right away that it is different! It is also known as Mono Mix 11. The vocals are louder and clearer over the effects and the fade is longer and has more and stronger piano. The effects themselves are louder and clearer (the bird type noises)and rise up differently into the song. This is, in my opinion, a far superior mix and was available only on the first day this LP was released! VERY RARE!!! The cover is a flap cover with Garrett & Lofthouse printed lower right on the rear flap. I have graded this one both visually AND played it to hear the different mix of the song.

ALL RECORDS GRADED VISUALLY wITH 150 WATT BULB AND 35 PLUS YEARS OF EXPERIENCE!! I GRADE VISUALLY ONLY, PLEASE DO NOT ASK ME HOW THE LP SOUNDS REGARDING POPS,CLICKS,ETC. I DO NOT PLAY THE LPS. THE GRADING I GIVE THE LP IS MEANT TO TAKE INTO ACCOUNT HOW IT WILL SOUND!!

ANY AND ALL FLAWS WILL BE LISTED AND DESCRIBED IN DETAIL BEFORE THE GRADING IS GIVEN. IF THERE IS NO PARTICULAR FLAW LISTED, THEN IT IS NOT PRESENT IN THE ITEM! IF THERE ARE NO FLAWS LISTED AT ALL, THEN THE ITEM IS EITHER MINT MINUS, STILL SEALED OR NEW AND NEVER PLAYED. THE DEFINITION OF VG+ IS THAT THE RECORD HAS SOME MARKS BUT WILL PLAY FINE AND HAS MANY PLAYS LEFT. THE DEFINITION OF VG++ IS THAT THE RECORD MAY HAVE A MARK OR TWO, BUT LOOKS EXTREMELY CLOSE TO NEAR MINT AND HAS A LOT OF LIFE LEFT! THE DEFINITION OF MINT MINUS IS THAT THE ITEM HAS BEEN TOUCHED BY HUMAN HANDS AND PERHAPS PLAYED ONCE.

FLAWS: Cover has signs of record being inside, handling marks, light moisture stain lower left front cover.

GRADING: Cover is VG+. Record is VG minus VISUALLY and plays really well! It sounds like a VG++ to MINT MINUS record to me!

Any glares/reflections/shadows in photos are just from my camera!
