Description
The Beatles Revolver LP XEX 606-1 on Side 2 Desirable LP Remix 11
This is the original first pressing of Revolver by The Beatles in MONO PMC 7009 which was removed from sale as John didn't like the mix of 'Tomorrow Never Knows'. The vinyl has a few visible light surface marks on either side (although the record plays with no skips or jumps, just a couple of crackles) , and the side 1 label only has a couple of spindle marks with very little hole wear. Side 2 has no spindle marks. This record features the rare Ernest J. Day & Co. Ltd printed front laminated flipback sleeve. This is rarer than the more common Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve. Outer sleeve is in VG condition with a couple of slight scuffs. The corners are showing only slight signs of rounding. There is NO writing or tears. The spine has no creasing and the writing is clear. The inner bag is the Patents Pending Applied For - Made In Great Britain sleeve which is in excellent condition. No tears or writing.
The Matrix numbers are Side 1 - XEX 605-2 and Side 2 - XEX 606-1
Mother stampers for side 1 are 1 P
Mother stampers for side 2 are 1 AP
The version of Tomorrow Never Knows on this LP is Remix 11. This was only included on pressings made on the first half of the first day of pressing. All other versions of this LP, on all formats, include the 'usual' mix. Remix 11 is not available on any other media format.
