1965 Earliest 1st UK 'Loud Cut' mono pressing of "RUBBER SOUL" on the yellow and black Parlophone label.  "The Gramophone ...." text on the label rim and the "Sold in the UK text" and 1/1 matrices.

 

 

Cover: Excellent. This is the 1st pressing Garrod & Lofthouse  cover which is laminated on the front and unlaminated on the rear. The rear has triple flip backs. Nice clear spine.  

 

Inner sleeve: Emitex poly-lined inner sleeve is Excellent.

 

Labels: Excellent+.   

 

Vinyl:  Play tested. Side 1 looks Near Excellent and plays Excellent with minor marks and a very nice sheen. Side 2 does have a scratch/marks on the last three tracks but it has no impact on playback - therefore Side 2 looks VG but plays Excellent.

Gradings.......

 

Mint - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.

Excellent - The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.

Very Good - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.

Good - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches.

Fair - The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise, it may even jump.

Poor - The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc

Bad - The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
