Kensington Community Learning Centre CIC is a Community Interest Company located in one of the most deprived areas of the country. Our aim is to offer training, support and employment related opportunities to disadvantaged members of this deprived community. Our community EBAY project is quite new – but we are quite excited about this find.

 

You are bidding on a BEATLES RUBBER SOUL LOUD-CUT MATRIX PMC MONO 1ST PRESS album.

Up for auction is this really lovely and very scarce “Loud –Cut” matrix First Press version of the iconic RUBBER SOUL album.  Everything about this copy perfect – except for a name written on the rear cover and in black on both labels.  If you can live with this, then you simply won’t find a better vinyl.

 

COVER:                        EX++ (except for name). “Patents Pending” G+L – wonderfully clean – with top gloss front. Sharp opening.

VINYL:                           Quite superb. Virtually mint. No stylus marks whatsoever.  Beautiful deep original gloss – the best.

LABELS:                         EX+ (except for name – but this is hard to see as written in black on black background).

MATRIX NUMBERS:      Side 1  =  YEX 579-1

                                      Side 2  =  YEX 580-1

MOTHER STAMPERS:   Side 1  =  3 M O

                                      Side 2  =  1 M A

                                      Making this a very early first pressing.

INNER SLEEVE:             Emitex - Original Rice Paper die cut inner.  Very slightly discoloured but in great shape.

AUDIO:                         The best.  Very clean intros with no obtrusive stylus sounds. Plays perfectly throughout with MINT playback of this solid MONO recording.  One of the best I’ve heard.

OVERALL:                     If you can live with the small indiscretions of the names, this is a beautiful example of a rare item which has otherwise been extremely well cared for.  BRILLIANT!!!
