IN SHRINK WRAP 1971 APPLE RECORDS ST-2442 

NEAR MINT - MINT CONDITION!

For sale is this Original "Rubber Soul" LP on Apple / Capitol Records # ST-2442 Stereo, In the Opened Shrink Wrap. This was manufactured at the Winchester, Virginia pressing plant in 1971. On the perimeter of the A side of the label is printed: "MFD by APPLE RECORDS". This album comes with a plain white rice paper inner sleeve.

The white on the cover photo is light glare and is NOT 

present on the actual album.

It is Extremely Rare to find one of these albums still in the Shrink Wrap. Most albums were opened and the shrink wrap was discarded.

The jacket remains in the factory applied shrink wrap, that has only been slit open on the side. It has a "Two Guys" department store price sticker on the shrink wrap of the back upper right corner.  The cover grades as NEAR MINT (Only because it has been opened. Otherwise, I would grade it MINT). The record has a high gloss sheen and luster, and the labels have no spindle marks indicating that this record was probably never played. The record grades as MINT (See the photos).

RECORD GRADING SYSTEM:

Mint = As new.

Near mint = Almost like new with one or two very minor flaws.

Excellent or Very Good+ = Minor wear yet looks attractive and is perfectly usable.

Very Good = Some wear and tear but overall presentable and usable.

Good = Apparent wear and tear but with obvious deterioration of the condition.

Poor = Extremely worn.

A plus (+) or minus (-) after the grading indicates that the condition is marginally higher or lower than the stated grade.

IT IS EXTREMELY RARE TO FIND THIS ALBUM STILL IN THE FACTORY SHRINK WRAP AND IN GORGEOUS NEAR MINT - MINT CONDITION!
