original issue beatles lp on the yellow / black parlophone label
lp cover
comes in original GARROD AND LOFTHOUSE - PATENTS PENDING SLEEVE - tri flipbacks laminated sleeve. the cover is in excellent condition. there is very little ringwear which is unusual for these early period beatles lps. all of the edges are straight and free from any damage. it might sound sad but i rubbed my finger along each edge to check for any loose laminate etc and edges are perfect. the spine is free from any damage and the lettering is perfect. all of the 4 corners are in excellent condition. there is no feathering or damage to the opening edge of the sleeve. the laminate is fully intact. the rear cover is in excellent condition - at some point a former owner put cellotape just at the very opening edge and this has left a residue mark. the sleeve was not torn or damaged so dont know why they did this. there is no writing or ink marks on the sleeve.
the flipbacks are without any damage or lifting - all nice and flat.

as you would expect the inner sleeve is the original issue paper EMITEX sleeve which is in near mint condition
Vinyl
the lp is as you would expect on heavy duty vinyl and visually is in very good condition. the lp retains a nice sheen. there are light marks on each side. but the bonus of these early heavyweight vinyl pressings is that they wear really well.
and heres the best bit unlike so many ebayers i am still in the vinyl time warp just like yourself and have a REGA P3 (rewired by audio origami) with a GOLDRING 2400 cartridge - played thru CYRUS VS2 / GRAHAM SLEE PHONO STAGE and REGA R5 speakers.
i have listened to the lp from start to finish and can confirm that it plays fine. there is some most occasional surface noise but this is minor and the lp plays right through without any jumps or sticks - the sound quality is very good. - so what you are getting is an honest appraisal based on actual listening. please bear in mind my feedback - you dont get 100% ratings by selling TAT or lying about condition.

labels and important information
the labels are generally nice and clean. there are a few spindle marks. the centre holes are nice and defined without any lifting or damage to the labels.
the labels have the sold in the uk text. the lettering at 9.00 oclock shows this is the gramophone co rim - KT tax codes

postage time and packing
all lps will be posted in cruciform box mailers with 2 card stiffeners for extra safety. many ebayers are attempting to get around the free postage rule by providing this type of tough packaging as an optional extra. i do not charge for using this!!!!
i will try and post to you as quickly as possible - if buying from UK and buying 1 item then i can simply pop in post any more and then i have to go to the post office whcih may delay things slightly. please also bear in mind that ebay do not allow me to charge UK domestic buyers for postage. i will therefore post only via second class postagem and this will therefor not be as quick as first class which i always used previously
