1966 PARLOPHONE PMC 7009 Matrix no's : XEX605 - 2 / 606 - 2The quality heavyweight vinyl still retains great sheen even though under bright light there are numerous visible marks predominantly hairlines but also some more noticeable marks and blemishes. But as with many Parlophone pressings they look worse than they are - playback is actually very strong; graded at least as EXCELLENT MINUS with very little surface and even that is only audible in quiet parts and between tracks etc and the odd click and pop here and there.
The YELLOW and BLACK PARLOPHONE record labels which have the early press 'Sold in the Uk...' and 'Gramophone Record Co...' texts are graded VERY GOOD PLUS with some visible spindle wear to both sides.
The thin card FRONT LAMINATED FLIPBACK PICTURE sleeve printed by GARROD & LOFTHOUSE is a VERY GOOD PLUS - strong and solid overall, spine 100% etc but has some slight discolouration to the flipbacks and also 2 tears to the front opening side, top and bottom - 6-7cm which at some point have been repaired with tape.
A great early copy of this classic Beatles Lp.
