Description

On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Beatles called 'Revolver' and is a MEGA RARE MONO UK 1966 1st pressing on the 1st Press Yellow & Black Parlophone label!!!! THIS LP IS EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND AND SERIOUSLY RARE!!!!  THIS IS THE MEGA RARE 1ST PRESSING OF THIS LP WITH THE 'XEX-606-1' SIDE 2 MATRIX WHICH PLAYS THE WRONG MIX OF 'TOMMORROW NEVER KNOWS' (CHANGED ON ALL LATER PRESSINGS)!!!!  THIS WAS CHANGED ALMOST IMMEDIATELY AFTER THIS LP WAS 1ST PRESSED - AND TODAY IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN GREAT CONDITION OVERALL - AND MOST IMPORTANTLY 'TOMMORROW NEVER KNOWS' PLAYS BRILLIANTLY!!!!  THIS IS THE 1966 UK MONO 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS YELLOW & BLACK PARLOPHONE LABEL, 'DR ROBERT' CREDIT ON THE SIDE 2 LABEL, 1ST PRESS GARROD & LOFTHOUSE 'PATENTS PENDING' FLIPBACK LAMINATED MONO COVER, 'THE GRAMOPHONE COMPANY' EDGE TEXT, 'SOLD IN THE UK' TEXT, AND 1ST PRESS 'PATENTS APPLIED FOR' PLAIN WHITE INNER SLEEVE!!!!   THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the ORIGINAL UK MONO 1st pressing from 1966 and is in GREAT condition overall!!!!  The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The matrix numbers are XEX 605-2 & YEX 606-1. The Cat. No is PMC 7009 on the ORIGINAL Yellow & Black Parlophone label (see picture) and is a 1966 MONO 1st pressing!!!! All the tracks are Pure quality Beatles at their best!!!! Any fan of The Beatles, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!

The record labels are in BRILLIANT condition (see pictures) with NO writing, and only a few light spindle marks!!!!  The vinyl is in GREAT condition overall!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and most importantly the track 'Tommorrow Never Knows' (with the wrong mix) plays BRILLIANTLY!!!!  The vinyl has a few small surface marks, a few light hairlines, 3 or 4 light scufflines, and only a few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  It is also VERY important to make clear that this record is NOT 'covered in marks' - and the record gives a VERY nice impression indeed with a BRILLIANT shine!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with only a few light clicks/pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, only some slight crackle in places, and only some VERY slight MEGA low level background sound on the occassional gap & run on grooves - NOT in the music!!!! HOWEVER what is REALLY important about this LP is of course the wrong mix of 'Tommorrow Never Knows'!!!!  And this ALL IMPORTANT track plays absolutely BRILLIANTLY - with NO pops, NO clicks, NO surface noise, NO distortion, NO groovewear and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!!  The record must grade Good++ if not better (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed) - though it is important to note that the ALL IMPORTANT track 'Tommorrow Never Knows' plays SIGNIFICANTLY better than the grading just given!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its 1st Press 'Patents Applied For' plain white inner sleeve!!!!  The 1st Press 'Garrod & Lofthouse' Laminated Flipback MONO Cover is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only slight corner wear, only a few light creases (Cover is still VERY flat looking), and NO writing!!!!  The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated back is in BRILLIANT condition with NO writing, NO grubbyness, barely ANY rubbing, and NO yellowing!!!! The cover must grade Very Good++ if not better!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AS A '606-1' 1ST PRESSING WITH THE WRONG MIX OF 'TOMMORROW NEVER KNOWS' AND IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND - SO  DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!

HAVE A LOOK AT MY PICTURES - I DO MY BEST TO SHOW THE RECORD FROM ALL ANGLES AND MAKE THE PICTURES AS CLEAR AS POSSIBLE - THERE IS NOTHING TO HIDE!!!! It really is a GREAT looking LP and it is truly rare to find any copies of this MEGA RARE Beatles LP!!!!  THIS WILL BE YOUR ONLY CHANCE TO BUY AN ORIGINAL UK 1966 MONO '606-1' 1ST PRESSING OF "REVOLVER" BY THE BEATLES!!!! Dont forget to take a look at all my other items including many other TOP LPs and contact me with any queries you may have.
