Description
On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Beatles called 'Revolver' and is an ORIGINAL UK 1966 'Earliest' 1st pressing on the 1st Press Yellow & Black Parlophone label!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS!!!! THIS IS THE ULTRA RARE 'EARLIEST' MONO 1ST PRESSING WHICH PLAYS THE 'WRONG MIX' OF 'TOMMORROW NEVER KNOWS'!!!! THIS LP WAS ONLY EVER PRESSED LIKE THIS FOR AN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNT OF TIME (BEFORE BEING IMMEDIATELY CORRECTED) AND IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE!!!! THIS ULTRA RARE 1ST PRESSING HAS THE ALL IMPORTANT 'XEX-606-1' SIDE 2 MATRIX WHICH SHOWS THAT THIS LP IS ONE OF THE MEGA RARE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS THAT PLAYS THE WRONG MIX OF 'TOMMORROW NEVER KNOWS'!!!! AND THIS WRONG MIX IS SO MUCH BETTER THAN THE STANDARD VERSION - WITH A LONGER PIANO OUTRO AT THE END OF THE TRACK AND FAR MORE PRONOUNCED 'SEAGULL' NOISES (WHICH ARE OF COURSE BACKWARDS GUITAR EFFECTS)!!!! IN FACT IT IS A CLEARER MIX ALTOGETHER AND IN MY OPINION I CANNOT SEE WHY IT WAS EVER CHANGED!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS!!!!
NOT ONLY THAT, THIS LP (ALONG WITH MANY OTHERS ONLINE AT THE MOMENT) CAME FROM AN EX REP (AND LATER MUSIC REVIEWER) FROM THE 1960S. ALL THE RECORDS IN HIS COLLECTION WERE OBTAINED WELL BEFORE THE RELEASE DATE, AND AS HE OBTAINED THIS RECORD DIRECT FROM THE FACTORY, THIS LP HAS A 'FACTORY SAMPLE' STICKER (WHICH IS SO CLEARLY 100% GENIUNE) ON THE SIDE 1 LABEL!!!! THIS 'FACTORY SAMPLE' STICKER WOULD HAVE BEEN APPLIED BACK IN THE FACTORY FROM NEW - AND HAS CLEARLY NEVER EVER BEEN 'PICKED AT' OR TOUCHED IN ANY WAY!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE LIKE THIS - AND IT WILL SURELY BE A VERY VERY LONG TIME BEFORE YOU SEE ANOTHER!!!!
NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN BRILLIANT CONDITION - AND IS INCREDIBLY HARD TO FIND LIKE THIS!!!! MOST OF THESE 'EARLIEST' 606-1 1ST PRESSINGS WERE BOUGHT BY FANATICAL BEATLES FANS - WHO RUSHED OUT TO BUY THE LP ON THE DAY OF RELEASE AND PLAYED IT TO DEATH!!!! BUT NOT THIS ONE!!!! AS THIS LP WAS OBTAINED BY THE EX-REP WELL BEFORE THE RELEASE DATE, IT WAS SPARED THE TERRIBLE ABUSE OFTEN INFLICTED ON 'EARLIEST' '606-1' 1ST PRESSINGS BY FANATICAL BEATLES FANS!!!! THIS LP HAS A SUPERB GLOSSY SHINE TO THE RECORD, A SUPERB INNER SLEEVE AND A BRILLIANT CONDITIONED COVER!!!! IT ALSO WORTH NOTING THAT THIS IS THE 'EARLIEST POSSIBLE' 1ST PRESS STYLE OF 'GARROD & LOFTHOUSE' COVER - IS IT IS MUCH MUCH THICKER THAN ALL LATER PRESSINGS!!!! THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1966 UK MONO '606-1' 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS YELLOW & BLACK PARLOPHONE LABEL, EARLIEST 1ST PRESS 'DR ROBERT' CREDIT ON THE SIDE 2 LABEL (LATER ONES HAVE 'DOCTOR ROBERT'), 1ST PRESS 'THE GRAMOPHONE COMPANY' EDGE TEXT, 1ST PRESS 'SOLD IN THE UK' TEXT, A 'KT' TAX CODE, 1ST PRESS 'PATENTS APPLIED FOR' PLAIN WHITE INNER SLEEVE, AND AN ULTRA RARE 1ST PRESS 'THICKER' FLIPBACK LAMINATED 'GARROD & LOFTHOUSE' COVER!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the ORIGINAL UK MONO 'Earliest' 1st pressing from 1966 and is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The matrix numbers are XEX 605-2 & YEX 606-1 (the ULTRA RARE 'Earliest' 1st Press matrixes that were immediately changed!). The Cat. No is PMC 7009 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Yellow & Black Parlophone label (see picture) and is a 1966 MONO 1st pressing!!!! All the tracks are Pure quality Beatles at their best!!!! Any fan of The Beatles, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!
The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO writing, NO wear, and only a few light spindle marks!!!! The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only a VERY few VERY light hairlines, NO scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO nasty loud pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, only some EXTREMELY low level background crackle in places (always INCREDIBLY low level), and only some EXTREMELY low level background sound on the gaps and run on grooves - NOT in the music AT ALL!!!! There is NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!! The record must grade Very Good++ if not better!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Patents Applied For' plain white inner sleeve which is in SUPERB condition!!!! The 1st Press 'Thicker' Garrod & Lofthouse Laminated Flipback Cover is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), only a few light creases (cover is VERY flat looking), VERY shiny laminate, and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated back is in BRILLIANT condition with NO writing, NO grubbyness, barely ANY rubbing AT ALL (virtually NONE), NO ringwear, and barely ANY yellowing AT ALL (virtually NONE)!!!! The cover must STRICTLY grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!
HAVE A LOOK AT MY PICTURES - I DO MY BEST TO SHOW THE RECORD FROM ALL ANGLES AND MAKE THE PICTURES AS CLEAR AS POSSIBLE - THERE IS NOTHING TO HIDE!!!!
