Description

THE BEATLES
" SGT. PEPPER'S LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND "
PARPLOPHONE PMC 7027 MONO 1st PRESSING

Released 1967 on UK PARLOPHONE Records. The laminated Garrod & Lofthouse gatefold sleeve is in EXCELLENT condition,
the "cut-out" insert is in MINT condition.

Although both sides of the vinyl sound excellent, with some light paper scuffs, and light surface scratches audible on some quiet passages
(and a couple of times on "Fixing A Hole") plus the spindle trails on the labels mean that a VG+ grading would be more accurate.
Since this is an early mono pressing the dynamic sound over-rides most background surface sound except for these occasions.

The label text has "The Gramophone Co. Ltd." and "Sold in UK...".
Side One matrix is XEX 637 - 1 and Side Two is XEX 638 - 1
