For sale is this MONO Copy of ONE OF THE RAREST of the Sgt Pepper Albums!! This Original 1967 1st pressing of the "Beatles Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" LP on Capitol Records # MAS- 2653. This. is an ERROR (Uncorrected) issue. On the Label and on the back cover, Track # 2 is listed as: "A Little Help From My Friends". Later copies were corrected to "With A Little Help From My Friends". Also on the back cover, bottom right, "All rights for the United States, Canada, Mexico, and the Philippines controlled by MACLEN MUSIC INC" does not appear on this copy, as it does on latter copies.  This record album was pressed and manufactured at the Scranton, Pennsylvania Pressing Plant and comes Complete with the "Cut out" Insert. One of the badges on the Insert has been cut out. It does NOT include the  Psychedelic inner sleeve. Someone throughout the years put a Vintage Green Capitol inner sleeve in place of the original sleeve.  On the label Perimeter edge is printed: "MFD by Capitol Records INC. with the Capitol dome logo".

CONDITION: The Jacket has some surface wear on the cover and edges. It has a 4" inch seam split on the top edge.  It grades as VERY GOOD PLUS. The record has a high gloss sheen and luster, and has a few Minor surface scratches and scuffs. The labels are in Very nice condition. The record grades as EXCELLENT (See the photos).

RECORD GRADING SYSTEM:

Mint = As new.

Near mint = Almost like new with one or two very minor flaws.

Excellent = Minor wear yet looks attractive and is perfectly usable.

Very Good = Some wear and tear but overall presentable and usable.

Good = Apparent wear and tear but with obvious deterioration of the condition.

Poor = Extremely worn.

A plus (+) or minus (-) after the grading indicates that the condition is marginally higher or lower than the stated grade.
