CLASSIC BEATLES ALBUM FROM 1967, THIS IS THE ORIGINAL VERY FIRST PRESS COMPLETE WITH THE CUTOUT INNER IN NM CONDITION AND THE RED/WHITE WAVY FOOLS INNER SLEEVE, SO OFTEN MISSING
Nowadays EXTREMELY HARD to find. This one is in wonderful condition as you would not often find. As common with bands like the Stones, Sabbath etc. the vinyls will in most cases be trashed. A very small minority were treated with due respect. This vinyl is one such rarity
Vinyl: VG++ to EX. In great shape and is very clean and a beautiful mirrorlike sheen . Plays with superb clean sound with immense depth and warmth. Just a couple of wispy hairlines that have NO impact whatsoever on the incredible audio, yes this is one of those quality heavy Parlophone vinyls with high groove walls that are now so sought after!!! Immensely hard to find this 60's gem which I have only seen once this whole year. This one plays great with hardly any crackle or noticeable background noise. Needless to say NO jumps, NO sticks, NO clicks. A great item for any '60s collector of well-crafted music.
Gatefold Sleeve: VG+ to EX. A really nice example, fully laminated inside and out this has the inner flipbacks, the edges are straight, the spine is fully legible There are a few underlaminate creases to the back and one front bottom corner crease (see pics) Some light wear on the opening There is NO writing and this is clearly a better than average sleeve!
Labels: EX. Stunning labels without any writing and only very light spindle marks.
Inner sleeve: EX Just one tiny side seam split, otherwise in great condition, this is the part which is most often missing and it is near impossible to find as a replacement, of course this is the original sleeve, NOT a reprint!!
Insert: NM! An untouched immaculate cutout inner with the Peter Blake credit!
Sensational sound quality, NO skips or jumps. NO clicks, NO crackle and static can at times only be heard at quieter passages (there are not too many!!) and in the silent grooves between the tracks. This is really a stunning SUPER heavy vinyl with a beautiful deep gloss. This vinyl has not been played much !!! A definite close to EX vinyl!!! There are only a couple of wispy hairlines, totally inaudible on replay. Don't be mistaken, this is a great quality vinyl, worthy of inclusion into a great 60's collection!!! Inspected under an intense lightsource and angled.
Top spins on my decks this week:
1. VGG - Pawn Hearts
2. Porcupine Tree - Up the Downstair
3. Uriah Heep - Salisbury
Though there are rarely ever any problems with my items, I always try my very best to describe everything exactly! PLEASE REMEMBER to contact me FIRST, if you have any problems at all, before you leave feedback and star ratings, so I get a chance to turn any negative experience into a positive one! I can always happily sort anything out for you, if you let me know you have a problem! This way no one has to leave Negative/Neutral feedback - and we both walk away happy! Similarly with the amount of stars, anything less than a full 5 * rating is effectively detrimental to a seller's rating as lower ratings will incur higher Final Value Fees and lower priority in the bidlists eventually making it unattractive to list items on Ebay at all. I know of at least one major previous Ebay seller who has decided not to list via Ebay again. Please do NOT bid if you cannot give me at least 1 chance to sort everything out to your FULL satisfaction in the unlikely event of a problem. Thanks again!!
Important :International postage will be registered and insured if over GBP 40.00. This will incur an extra signed for fee. Postage to ITALY will be Signed for in any case!! Please do not pay before I have sent out the invoice. The album will be fully insured. Please wait for my invoice in this case. Postage will be according to Royal Mail rates. Postage is NOT a money spinning exercise for me.
This an excellent investment opportunity!!! Any questions please ask me and I will try to answer soon.
