THE BEATLES ~ SGT. PEPPERS LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND ~ USA PRESSING on CAPITOL RECORDS ~ MAS-2653 ~ MONO
READ THIS PLEASE......This is the nicest of my Sgt. Pepper Mono's, I've held onto it for over 20 year's as they are getting pretty hard to find in this condition. I have been lucky enough to win a copy recently that will tide me over nicely while searching for a sealed copy (my next big purchase). This pressing is fantastic, the inner cut-outs are the first issued on heavy cardboard and the inner sleeve has a touch of light edge scuffing but no splits. The jacket has only a touch of ring wear...this is VERY Rare in that the back of these jackets acquire ring wear very easily, the title seam is strong and fully legible.
THIS IS THE SECOND RAREST JACKET WITH A MICRO-PRINT NEMS ABOVE THE FACTORY REFERENCES #CAP2653.MC3
THE LABELS ARE WEST COAST THICK PRINT #CAP2653.MR1B
PRICED FOR THE HOLIDAY'S - BUY IT NOW FOR FREE SHIPPING IN THE USA
VINYL is VISUALLY RATED NEAR MINT and PLAY RATED MINT MINUS there are 2 light scuff lines, one on each side, they are difficult to see unless tipped to the side and they do not effect playback in any way, shape or form...plays without back ground noise, quiet between tracks with only one dead space giving a light tic...otherwise a perfect playback
JACKET is NEAR MINT one seam split at the opening extends back about 2 inches, I have not wanted to tape it or repair it from the inside as it's just too nice overall to mess with. Extremely light ring wear on the back but otherwise beautiful
DO NOT PAY UNTIL YOU RECEIVE AN INVOICE - $1.50 IS ADDED ON FOR A NEW REINFORCED LP MAILER & HANDLING
DAVES RATINGS:
MINT - Either sealed or spotless vinyl which is play rated and without any background noise whatsoever - PERFECT
NEAR MINT - Vinyl is without scratches, jumps, pops, crackle or clicks - visually flawless and if play rated plays without background noise, may have some ultra light paper scuffing which does not affect play (a minus on Near Mint (NM-) is an indication of visual scuffs that do not affect play on an otherwise NM LP).
EXCELLENT - I use this rating for LP's that appear to be VG++ with light scuffs and such, but they play closer to NM. As with all the fine variations of grading, read the description with the grading
VERY GOOD ++ - Vinyl has some light paper scuffs but no scratches or imperfections that can or might cause obtrusive background noise, very light ticks or light crackle may be heard but only very sporadically. Very close to near mint visually but when played it is just a bit off. A great second copy while awaiting a perfect one.
VERY GOOD + - Vinyl has some light scuffs and or hairline scratches that produce light background noise, but no skips, jumps or serious imperfections, a good second rate copy while awaiting the nicer copy.
GOOD, FAIR or VERY GOOD MINUS - I DO NOT SELL RECORDS OF THIS RATING UNLESS THEY ARE EXTREMELY RARE COLLECTORS ITEMS WITH HIGH VALUES REGARDLESS OF CONDITION
