THE BEATLES
"SGT. PEPPER'S LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND"
PMC 7027
ON YELLOW & BLACK PARLOPHONE
1ST PRESS MONO!!
Good opportunity to bid on the following 1967 album by THE BEATLES titled SGT. PEPPERS.
Here is a beautiful copy of THE BEATLES album SGT. PEPPERS, on PARLOPHONE YELLOW & BLACK label. This is the eighth album from The Fabulous Four pressed & released on the 1st of June 1967, comes on the Parlophone Yellow & Black label with the matrix: Side (1) XEX-637-1 & Side (2) XEX-638-1, the message around the outside of the labels begins "The Gramaphone Co Ltd" the labels also have the statement "Sold in the U.K". Making this a very nice 1st pressing, also included is the card "cutout" insert and the red & white inner sleeve, highly collectible in this condition.
The Garrod & Lofthouse gatefold cover is in very nice condition with no wear or corner knocks and still very glossy, just a small line crease at the back which i think it was already there when i bought it might be it came out like that from the factory, the red and white inner sleeve is still solid with no tears only with very little foxing and the impressed mark of the record and the cut out insert is in mint condition...the words (Stg. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band) on the spine are still readable and clear... overall a very collectible item.
The vinyl itself looks nice and glossy with very few light hairline marks seen under strong light and the labels almost no spindle marks on both sides ... i only played this for a quiet short time and very carefully played.
Very nice and not to be missed!!!
GOOD LUCK AND HAPPY BIDDING!!!!
