Welcome to AudioZomba QUALITY SOUGHT AFTER VINYL AND AUDIO EQUIPMENT     This EXCELLENT 1st UK MONO pressing from 1967 is on the yellow & black Parlophone label: PMC 7027

Both labels include the 'Sold in UK..' text & have 'The Gramophone Co. Ltd..' worded rim.


Housed in a fully laminated, inner-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed stereo gatefold cover with a regular width spine.

Complete with its highly sought after original red & white psychadelia inner-sleeve & near MINT cut-out sheet.

Labels: EXCELLENT

Clean and unblemished with evidence of spindle trails only.

Visual: EXCELLENT

Both playing surfaces are clean with some paper scuffs but no deep marks or other significant signs of wear. Both sides lie perfectly flat.

Audio Playback: EXCELLENT

A very clean copy with a little static on the run ins on both sides which settlesdown quickly. There are hints of soft static and a two light pops on 'Being for the Benefit of Mr.Kite'. I had to replay this to confirm, as they are barely discernable. Otherwise, this is a nice clean distortion free copy with no jumps, scratches or clicks .

Cover

EXCELLENT -

The front panel of this fine example has a bright & totally unscratched high-gloss front laminate with moderate thumbing crease at the opening edge.

Spine shows some wear and corners are lightly worn - please see the supersize photos.

The inside of the gatefold is shiny and bright with no significant blemishes. The rear panel is in great overall condition with slight thumbing crease only.

Inner-sleeve

EXCELLENT -

Very rare original psychadelic red/white inner a little ruffled but no writing, seam splits or tears anywhere.

Cut-out Sheet

The sheet appears flat with no blemishes or creases, probably hardly been taken out. I would say near mint.


  Will be sent fully signed for and insured in professional corrugated mailer with inner stiffeners and marked 'fragile'.   Please refer to supersize photos.     Grading System:   Mint (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
Near Mint (M-) The record is near new with only slightest hints of superficial paper scuffing in strong light and only the smallest hint that its ever been played. The cover and any additional extras are clean, crisp and with no wear whatsoever.
Excellent (EX) ( +/- ) The record shows some signs of having been played, some mild surface blemishes and  paper scuffs are acceptable  but there should be, however,  little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight thumb wear/ vinyl ring, cover edge wear and/or creasing.
Very Good (VG) (+/-) The record has obviously been played many times, but should not display any major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
