Description
An opportunity to acquire a copy of the 1967 Parlophone PMC 7027 recording of The Beatles, Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band in mono.
The record has a gatefold sleeve and a plain white inner sleeve which isn't original. There is also a fully intact near mint cut-out insert. The corners of the gatefold sleeve are slightly worn and the surface of the seam with the album title on is flaking. Otherwise it is in very good condition and there is no grafitti.
The vinyl is in very good (near excellent) condition. There is one mark on the last track of Side 1. This mark does cause an intermittant crackle but it only affects one track. The record has been lovingly played over the years and still plays through without any jumps or skips. As a result of frequent use, the labels have acquired some spindle marks. The vinyl is marked XEX 637-1 on Side 1 and XEX 638-1 on Side 2.
I believe this is an early example because on the Side 2 label, 'A Day In The Life' is omitted.
