Description
This is a 1966 CAPITOL RECORDS MONO SCRANTON FIRST PRESSING OF THE ORIGINAL 1966 CAPITOL RECORDS U.S. LP titled 'Revolver' from the Beatles. It is Capitol Records U.S. catalog number T2576, mid 1960s Capitol labels, with its original 'Capitol '66 Sounds Great' inner sleeve, with the original factory shrinkwrap torn in a couple of places and missing in a couple of places but still surrounding the cover.
No factory designator in run-out area on the record, indicating a Scranton pressing; also, no number next to the RIAA logo at the lower right corner of the back cover, also indicating a Scranton pressing. Songs are credited to 'Lennon-McCartney', indicating a first pressing, rather than 'John Lennon-Paul McCartney' as shown on later pressings. Record comes packaged inside the cover in its original orange 'Capitol '66 Sounds Great' inner sleeve. Tracks:

Condition of record is a beautiful NM- with all original gloss and just one very small visible surface mark which cannot be felt and does not affect play. Although the album cover is still mostly still surrounded by its original factory shrinkwrap I have to grade it as VG, due to some damage along the left side of its top edge and damage and a split at the top of the spine which appears to be the work of a previous owner's cat; I have included images of the damaged areas. 'Capitol '66 Sounds Great' original inner sleeve is in nice condition with no splits or tears, just a few slight wrinkles. This MONO FIRST PRESS LP would be a nice addition to any Beatles or 1960s rock-n-roll record collection! Media mail postage within the U.S. is $4.00.
