Beatles 3rd State Peeled Butcher Cover w/ Removed Trunk Slick
You are bidding on a genuine 1966 professionally peeled Butcher Cover that comes complete with the removed trunk slick and mono record and Capitol inner sleeve. This is a very high end peel that features a jacket with white borders and strong seams. Butcher Covers in this type of condition are getting harder to come by and are commanding higher prices even as second states. There are a few minor condition issues here, but make no mistake, this is a beauty !
Top and bottom seams are tight and complete (see photo). Spine is also very nice with all printing and just a few cracks in the words "Yesterday" and "Today" (see spine photo).  This has been professionally secured. The top white border shows some abrasion but nothing that interferes with the catalog number at top or "File Under The Beatles". This is the strongest jacket I've had in a long while. Regardless, it is never a good idea to place a record in a jacket of this age.
The back of the jacket is fairly clean with very little ring wear. Just some light moisture staining (see photo) and an accompanying musty scent. Not too big a deal, but if this bothers you, this might not be the jacket for you.
The removed trunk slick is included and with wear and tear from the peel (see photo).
Scranton record that came with this is included and has not been play graded but appears to be noticeably scratched and in only fair condition. This record can be easily replaced. Inner sleeve is golden Capitol Scranton inner in decent condition.
This is a used item that is being sold in "as is" condition. Please refer to photos and feel free to contact me if you have questions.
