Description

I have for sale a stunning example of Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band FIRST PRESSING LP, by The Beatles. It also comes with a GENUINE magazine article written by Nicholas Wapshott taken from the Observer Magazine back in June 1987, to commemarate the 20th anniversary of the making of Sgt Peppers in 1967. I have included some pictures of the article to give you a taste of its uniqueness and excellence. It has pictures of the Beatles in Abbey Road Studio making Sgt Peppers, plus others. It also has a Beatles quiz.  I supplied the Montego picture purely as a dating aid for your information. I have graded both the record (there are a few marks on the record, but they do not impinge upon the quality of the sound as I have played the LP right through) and inner and outer sleeve as EX (excellent).

This is a chance for you to acquire a small piece of unique Beatles memorabilia and an iconic LP in excellent condition.

RECORD GRADING:

All my records are graded using the UK  ‘Record Collector’ format:

MINT (M):  The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet are in perfect condition. Records advertised as sealed or Unplayed should be mint.

EXCELLENT (EX):  The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG):  The record has been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (G):  The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR (F):  The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/ or defaced.

POOR (P)  The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD (B)  The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.

All my items come to you in a strong clear plastic record sleeve for added protection.
