Description
I'm not a dealer but an avid vinyl collector, and have been for over 30 years. I've just bought a small collection of vinyl LP's from a close friend to obtain the 10-15 LP's I wanted. The rest will be sold here on eBay over the forthcoming weeks/months. There are lots of cracking LP's, mostly UK 1st pressings of the Beatles, Rolling Stones, The Who, Pink Floyd, etc. etc. I've used the 'UK Record Collector' guide to grade the LP's, using +/- where LP's sit just outside a specific grade. Please check my feedback to 100% status !
Beatles - Sgt.Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band - 1967 UK 1st mono pressing on the black and yellow Parlophone label with 'The Gramaphone Co Ltd' and 'Sold in the UK.......' text on the label - serial number PMC 7027 - side1 matrix XEX 637-1 - side2 matrix XEX 638-1.
COVER - The Garrod and Lofthouse gatefold flipback cover is laminated on both sides and is in superb un-marked condition with no writing, folds, bends, tears or rips of any kind. It still has the 'creak' when opened - Condition MINT.
INNER - The red and white fool inner has some slight wear to the top and bottom of the sleeve - Condition EXCELLENT.
INSERT - The cut-out insert is completely un-amrked - Condition MINT.
VINYL - The vinyl gleams like new and when held up to the light shows little if any use at all. There is one very light/faint hairline scratch on side1 which does not affect playback in the slightest (it would be full mint if this was not present). I've just played the LP on my Linn Sondek LP12 and is sounds truly fantastic - Condition EXCELLENT+/MINT-.
LABELS - The black and yellow Parlophone labels again are in great condition and are perfectly legible - Condition MINT.
