VERY clean playing copy of this classic album..

The Garrod And Lofthouse sleeve has "Patents Pending" on the back and the inner bag has "Patents Applied For"..

The label has "Gramophone" and "Sold in the UK" text..(A first pressing)..

The matrix numbers are:YEX 637 1 and YEX 638 1..

The mothers and stampers are:1 GA and 1 RDA ..These are fairly low stampers and this copy is a VERY early one off the press....

There does'nt seem to be a KT tax code anywhere,not on the labels or in the run off grooves... 

Issued on Parlophone on 1st June 1967..PCS 7027...UK pressing in stereo..Complete with red and white inner bag and card insert..

Play grade on this is easily EX..A very clean playing record..There are a couple of tiny pops on the second side,but nothing loud or irritating and surface noise is at an absolute minimum..It really does play well.. 

The disc plays flat on the turntable with no skips or jumps...

Visual grade is VG..Both sides have a few light scuffs (The B side also has a light scratch towards the end of the side,but it's not deep)..There are no really nasty scratches or alarming marks..Looking at this disc you would say.."Should play fine" and it does!..

The labels are undamaged  with clearly legible text...There is some spindle wear,but it's not excessive.. 

 The fully laminated sleeve (front,back and inside the gatefold) grades as EX minus..The main defect being a scuff to the front bottom edge (just to the right of the yellow flowers),it goes through the laminate and shows a little of the white card beneath the colour..Otherwise,it's a clean sleeve with only light cornerwear and a couple of small laminate creases..

There are no rips,tears,stains,sellotape,tapemarks,seam splits or scribble..All the text on the spine is legible,there is minimal edge rubbing or dischape and the colours are bright and unfaded....

The red and white inner sleeve has a little age yellowing to the white,it has a few creases and the top edge has a patch of discolouring (looks a bit like a burn mark)..There are two seam splits: a small one to one edge and a larger one to the bottom edge....

The card insert has a little fading to the corners but is otherwise undamaged....
