Extremely nice stereo copy of this LONG out of print LP.
If you are eyeballing this listing you know that once Beatlemania took over the world, various labels leased tracks that the band recorded with UK singer Tony Sheridan prior to their own massive popularity. This particular copy was released on New York City’s tiny Clarion label and unlike its MGM and Decca counterparts, was perhaps the known best for being the smallest independent label to release these tracks. As was common for this set of early tracks, there are four tracks by The Beatles (“Ain’t She Sweet” plus three with Sheridan). Additionally, the remaining tracks are by The Swallows whose main fame was being British (covering early Beatles' originals)
It you collect Beatles vinyl, this LP is definitely one to have. Besides being on the smallest label, this is a Stereo copy. Back in 1966, stereo releases were $1 more expensive than mono copies and did not sell as well. Hence, today the stereo copies are more collectible.
Stored vertically in a smoke free environment for 50 years.
