The great UK recordings from the Beatles, mostly working on each other's individual compositions here, rather than co-written songs of John Lennon and Paul McCartney.
Having officially retired from playing live they became prolific in the studio, and were given a luxury of time and attention. Sometimes this even became frustrating, and Geoff Emerick quit, Ringo left at one point, and George Harrison decided to have Eric Clapton guest on one of his brilliant tunes - just to get the others to take him seriously - it worked!
George Martin brought these tracks together into a fantastic double album. He himself had thought a single record will have been better, but then we may have missed out on a few gems that made up these 4 sides.
Now about this item package;
The WOW factor is absolute! An almost perfect set, complete and in archive museum shape.
How lovely to have the sensitive periods in the music, and the breaks between the tracks be so quiet!

THIS COMPLETE SET IS IN BEAUTIFUL CONDITION!
CONDITION;
The VINYL grades NEAR MINT- for both discs, playing WONDERFULLY.
APPLE Lables are NEAR MINT. No stains, stickers or pen, SUPERB CLEAN EXAMPLES.
Notably, the 'Mfd by EMI' text is absent for Side 3 or 4 of these lables.
The LAMINATED NUMBERED No. 0510549, TOP OPENING GATEFOLD COVER is NEAR MINT, flat and clean, a really LOVELY example!!
The POSTER insert, and custom black inner sleeves are included in nice condition, the inners have sealing stickers at the openings. Not too obtrusive, I leave this to the next owner to remove if wished.
All 4 semigloss PORTRAIT PHOTOS are flat and clean!
An outstanding package all round, and will be tough to upgrade!
