Description
The Beatles - 'Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band' Picture Disc. PHO 7027
The Beatles 1979 UK 1st picture disc pressing of the 'Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band' LP. Released in January 1979, it is offered here with wonderful EXCELLENT+/MINT- condition vinyl. In addition this copy appears to be a particularly early issue or simply a pressing error. Firstly it is housed within a gatefold sleeve similar to the original 1967 version (just as I acquired it) and not the simple die cut sleeve. Secondly the side two image is considerably out out of focus compared to side one. I have shown this in the final two pictures below. This could be a particularly early pressing with the picture disc image not being correctly setup or a pressing error.
E.M.I Records failed to advertise the fact that they had released this very desirable object. The result was complete chart failure for this beautiful picture disc pressing of what is in my humble opinion is the greatest album ever recorded. This very fact has now made this a rare and desirable Beatles release to obtain. It is offered here with wonderful EXCELLENT+/MINT- condition vinyl.
The vinyl is in EXCELLENT+/MINT- condition. LOOKS AND SOUNDS WONDERFUL.
The sleeve is in VERY GOOD+ condition. Two small pin holes to the top edge.
This LP will be very carefully packaged for transit. UK recorded postage is: £4.00. EU recorded postage is: £9.95. Rest of the world recorded postage is: £15.95. Combined discounted postage is available.
VINYL VISUALLY GRADED BASED ON UK RECORD COLLECTOR GRADES WITH A + OR -.
