BEATLES UK, Abbey Road, missing ‘hyphen’ label mis press, original UK 1969 issue LP.
PCS 7088, original UK 1969 apple record labels.
An early UK issue in original condition, featuring:
1. an unusual mis pressed label on side two, as the track, ‘She came in through the bathroom window’, on the writers credit, the ‘hyphen’ that usually appears between, ‘Lennon – McCartney’ is missing !. This must have been a result of the printing plates at EMI being ‘tampered’ with !. This ‘missing hyphen’ was soon spotted and corrected so only a very few of these labels were printed with the ‘missing hyphen’,
2. side two of the record label, the track ‘Her Majesty’ does not appear printed on the label, nor does it appear printed on the rear of the sleeve !, but the track plays on the record !,
3. as the record is a very early issue, the record label on side one features a dark green ‘apple’ colour,
4. comes with its original plain white, ‘Patent applied for’, inner sleeve.
CONDITION:
THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in very good+ condition. The sleeve is fully laminated. The original period ‘thin’ spine is in good+ condition, it has remained clean, white and straight and all the text on the spine is clear to read. There is a split to the centre of the spine. Theres NO tears, stickers or sticker residue on the sleeve. To the front top, right there are some ‘indentations’ of some old hand writing.
THE INNER SLEEVE: is in very good+ condition and is the original plain white, ‘Patent applied for’, inner sleeve. A very clean and white original inner sleeve. The sleeve is made from the original quality heavy grade paper and the inside of the sleeve has a ‘textured’ surface. There are NO tears, pen writing, stickers or sticker residue on the inner sleeve. There is a split to the two side edges and to the bottom edge.
THE RECORD: side one is in very good+ condition, side two is in very good condition. The record is made from the period, quality 1960s, thick, heavy vinyl.
The matrix are: YEX 749 - 2 and YEX 750 - 1,
The mother / stampers are: ‘3 GPP’ and ‘4 GMA’,
THE AUDIO: side one plays very good+, side one plays with some light ‘crackle’ and some ‘ticks’ heard here and there. Side two plays very good, side two plays with some light ‘crackle’ and some ‘ticks’ heard here and there. The record plays with a full powerful, period stereo sound. The record lays flat on the turntable.
THE LABELS: each record label is in very good+ condition. The labels are free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.
TO GRADE THE CONDITION OF THE RECORD I AM USING THE OFFICIAL GRADING SYSTEM FROM THE ‘RECORD COLLECTOR’ MAGAZINE.

PACKING - ALL RECORDS ARE POSTED WITH MULTI LAYERED CARD STIFFENERS FOR PROTECTION. BEFORE POSTING, THE RECORD IS REMOVED FROM THE RECORDS ORIGINAL INNER AND OUTER SLEEVE, THE RECORD IS THEN PUT INTO A SECOND PAPER INNER SLEEVE TO MINIMISE ANY DAMAGE THAT MAY OCCUR WHILE IN TRANSIT. THE RECORD / SLEEVES ARE THEN PUT INTO A NEW PLASTIC SLEEVE FOR FURTHER PROTECTION.
