Description
This is the original UK LP by The BEATLES, ABBEY ROAD, this is a very early 1970 2nd Press on the light green APPLE label PCS 7088 Matrix numbers are, Side 1:- YEX 749-2 , Side 2:- YEX 750-1 Matrix numbers are Side 1:- 3 / PPL, Side 2:- 5 / PLA The reason I know that this is a early 2nd Press, is the cover, the cover on ABBEY ROAD UK LP's is always a big give away to the Pressings. The cover has straight squared corners and spine, not domed and tapered like the 1st issue cover. But what makes this cover a very early 1970 2nd original UK issue is the shade/hue of the cover. On this beautiful example the colours are deep and rich, the same of a 1st issue, later re-issues of ABBEY ROAD has a much lighter and faded hue to them, this is most noticeable on the sky and zebra crossing. Here on this one the sky is deep blue and the zebra crossing is mid-hue as of a 1st issue. Also the lamination is of a 1st issue, deep and super glossy, later issues didn't have the same quality of lamination The original 1970 UK fully laminated Garrod and Lofthouse cover is in a BEAUTIFUL & WONDERFUL MINT- condition!!!. The cover maintains all it's beautiful rich bright vibrant colour, thickly laminated with glossy laminate, STUNNING, SUPERB BOLD RICH COLOURS,!!. The spine is fully intact, MINT, factory fresh clean and crisp and perfectly readable Their are no seam splits and no unwanted writing. STUNNING EXAMPLE!!!! The vinyl is in MINT- condition!, but for one ultra fine small hairline on Side 1, I would grade the vinyl, 100% MINT!!!. The vinyl gleams with all it's original 'Just Pressed, glossy shine and lustre!, I have played both sides (very very carefully!) and the vinyl plays EX+++ / MINT- !!!! The vinyl plays with stunning crisp clear clarity!, amazing clean crisp powerful Stereo, crystal clear clarity, amazing Stereo, top quality pressing! ONE OF THE BEST ABBEY ROAD UK VINYL'S I HAVE HAD THE HONOUR AND PLEASURE TO LISTEN TO, WITH BLOW YOU AWAY SUCH IS THE CLARITY ANS RICH SOUND TO THE STEREO!!!
The label's are in MINT- condition, lovely and clean, maintaining all their original bright fresh colour, their is no unwanted writing, the centre spindle hole shows no wear, STUNNING label's!
The vinyl is housed in its original 1970 UK white inner sleeve, lovely and clean and in MINT- condition, no seam splits, super clean, white and crisp, no unwanted writing.
