Description
BEATLES UK, Revolver LP, original UK 1966 mono.
PMC 7009, original 1966 black and yellow Parlophone labels.
A UK mono copy in original condition, featuring:
1. the record labels are first issue, featuring the, ‘Sans Serif’ font and the ‘Dr’ spelling on side two.
CONDITION:
THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in very good++ condition, the front of the sleeve is laminated. The spine is in very good++ condition and all the text on the spine is clear to read. The two opening edges of the sleeve have remained clean for their age. The rear panel of the sleeve has remained very clean and has little in the way of the usual ‘scuffing’. The rear of the sleeve features the original 1960s ‘tri-flip back’, fold over edge design. There are NO tears, splits, stains, stickers or sticker residue on the sleeve. The original ‘price’ of the album has been written in black pen on the rear, bottom right ‘flip back’, that says, ‘32/5 ?’. On the front of the laminate there is some pen indentations, this can mainly be seen when the laminate is held to the light.
THE INNER SLEEVE: is in near excellent condition and is the original period plain white inner with the text, ‘Patent applied for‘. The two opening edges have remained very clean, a well preserved inner sleeve for its age. There are NO tears, stains, pen writing, stickers or sticker residue on the inner sleeve. There is a slight split to one of the side edges.
THE RECORD: side one is in very good++ condition. Side two is in very good+ condition. The record is made of the period, quality, 1960s thick, heavy vinyl. The record has remained very dark and glossy.
The matrix are: XEX 605 - 2 and XEX 606 - 2,
The mother / stampers are: ‘5 OL’ and ‘5 MD’,
THE AUDIO: side one plays near excellent, with some light ‘crackle’ heard here and there. Side two plays very good++, it plays with some ‘ticks’ and some light ‘crackle’ heard here and there. The record plays with a full loud, period mono sound. The record lays flat on the turntable.
THE LABELS: side one is in excellent+ condition. Side two is in excellent condition. The letters ‘KT’ are embossed around the spindle hole on side one. The labels are free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.

BEFORE POSTING, THE RECORD IS REMOVED FROM THE RECORDS ORIGINAL INNER AND OUTER SLEEVES, THE RECORD IS THEN PUT INTO A SECOND PAPER INNER SLEEVE TO MINIMISE ANY DAMAGE THAT MAY OCCUR WHILE IN TRANSIT. THE RECORD / SLEEVES ARE THEN PUT INTO A NEW PLASTIC SLEEVE FOR FURTHER PROTECTION.
