Description
BEATLES UK – Revolver, very first Stereo press with the ‘Dr’ spelling on the label.
PCS 7009 - original 1966 Stereo Yellow & Black Parlophone Labels.
An original UK album in 100% original condition, featuring:
The very first pressings of this album featured the spelling of ‘Dr’ Robert (rather than ‘ Doctor’) printed with the ‘Sans Serif’ font.
Apparently John Lennon thought that the spelling of ‘Doctor’ should be used !. As with the storey of the Mono ‘remix 11’ pressings, these early ‘Sans Serif’ font. ‘Dr’ Stereo pressings made it into the shops before the changes could be made !.
The spelling of this song title on the rear of the sleeve was never changed to read ‘Doctor’ !.
CONDITION:
THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in very good+ condition, the front of the sleeve is laminated. The spine is in near excellent condition and all the text is clear to read.
