BEATLES UK, Sgt Pepper, mis press Irish ? one EMI box record label LP.
PCS 7027, 1969 unusual Irish ? one EMI box black and silver Parlophone record labels.
A unusual UK / Irish ? issue in original condition, featuring:
1. unusual one EMI box record labels thought to be printed in Ireland. The text, 'The Gramophone Co Ltd' is printed around the outer edge of each record label and the one EMI box suggests a printed year of 1969. These unusual 'Irish' record labels feature:
a. the word 'BENEFIT' has been mis pressed, as it reads 'BENEEIT', on side one of the record label for the track title, 'Being for the Benefit of Mr Kite',
b. an unusual mix of the 'Roman' and the 'Sans Serif' letter style fonts,
c. the text of '33 1/3' and the word 'stereo' has been printed 'off set',
2. earliest 'mother' of '1' engraved onto the 'run off' groove on side two of the record,
3. there are NO 'stampers' engraved onto the 'run off' grooves on the record,
4. the main sleeve features 'deeper flipbacks', (fold over edges), that measure '19mm' deep,
5. to the rear bottom, right corner of the card sleeve there is the text, ‘Patents Pending’, this text was printed in error as by 1969 the 'Patents' on the sleeve had already been agreed,
6. comes with its original plain white period EMI 'Patent No 1,125, 555' text inner sleeve.
CONDITION:
THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in very good+ condition. The sleeve is fully laminated, this laminate has an excellent glossy finish. The spine is in excellent condition and has remained clean, white and straight and all of the text on the spine is clear to read. The original two top exposed 'deeper flipbacks’, ie 'fold over' edges can be seen when the sleeve is opened. There are NO tears, splits, pen writing, stickers or sticker residue on the sleeve.
THE INSERT: is in excellent condition. There are NO tears, pen writing, stickers or sticker residue on the 'insert'.
THE INNER SLEEVE: is in very good+ condition and is the original period plain white EMI 'Patent No. 1,125,555' text inner sleeve. Theres NO pen writing, splits, tears, stickers or sticker residue on the inner sleeve.
THE RECORD: each side of the record is in 'good' condition. The record is made of the period 1960s ‘thick, heavy’ vinyl.
The records matrix is: YEX 637 - 1 and YEX 638 - 1,
The 'mother/stampers' are: ‘26 ?’, with just the 'mothers' engraved, there are NO 'stampers' engraved,
and ‘1 ?’, earliest 'mother' of '1' and again there are NO 'stampers' engraved.
THE AUDIO: each side of the record plays 'good', each side plays with 'crackle', 'ticks' and 'pops' heard here and there. The record lays flat on the turntable.
THE RECORD LABELS: each of the record labels are in excellent condition. Each of the record labels are free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.
TO GRADE THE CONDITION OF THE RECORD I AM USING THE OFFICIAL GRADING SYSTEM FROM THE RECORD COLLECTOR MAGAZINE.

BEFORE POSTING, THE RECORD IS REMOVED FROM THE RECORDS ORIGINAL INNER AND OUTER SLEEVES, THE RECORD IS THEN PUT INTO A SECOND PAPER INNER SLEEVE TO MINIMISE ANY DAMAGE THAT MAY OCCUR WHILE IN TRANSIT. THE RECORD / SLEEVES ARE THEN PUT INTO A NEW PLASTIC SLEEVE FOR FURTHER PROTECTION.
