Description

The Beatles simply had to be classed as one of the most progressive rock bands to emerge from the sixties. And while their style grew from the early simplicity demanded of the pop charts this band soon showed so much innovative progression  as they matured in stature like a fine wine. The Beatles never stood still and each album was different. Great albums like Rubber Soul and Revolver were followed by the ultimate Sgt Pepper masterpiece and the the White Album....again another masterpiece.  The White Album, as it became known, was simply titled The Beatles and first pressings were run off as 'limited editions' with each album carrying its own identification  number. The concept was planned as  a plain white laminated gate-fold double album with top openings and was  naturally very collectable,   with low numbers  being the most prized.  This  copy is the UK rarer mono version ......cat. no. PMC 7067( Limited number : 0092036) and the first matrix numbers on all sides : XEX 709-1;710 -1;711- 1;712 - 1. The vinyl is housed in the original black sleeves and is in excellent condition, with minor scuff marks and playing beautifully. The album is also complete with original poster in excellent condition of all four Beatles picture cards in near mint condition. The sleeve has maintained its' excellent white laminated finish and has no graffitti, bends of tears. It is the original Garrod and Lofthouse sleeve and the spine is undamaged and  in excellent condition. This is a 'must have' for any true Beatles fan and and will not really need to be upgraded.See picture above for track listing.
