BEATLES WHITE ALBUM NM 1982 UK ISSUE MONO LP

$

180

·       This is a rare UK mono pressing of the Beatles, “The Beatles”, (better known as "The White Album") on Apple, PMC 7067, originally released in the UK in 1968, and here as re-issued in 1982 as part of Parlophone's acclaimed and highly sought after Beatles re-issue series.

·       This is the original, authentic, 1982 re-issue pressing – NOT a counterfeit or later inferior post-1987 pressing with the "direct metal mastered from a digitally re-mastered original tape to give the best possible sound quality" language on the cover.

·       Original EMI UK-style inner sleeve.

·       Includes original full-sized poster and (4) individual full-size Beatle photos, all in perfect condition.

·       Beautiful, wear-free labels.

Please see the images shown below of the ACTUAL cover & labels of the record you are bidding on...

IMPORTANT NOTE:  I am a careful, conservative grader.  All my records are graded visually under strong diffuse light, and I play at least a portion of each record to verify the visual grade.  Any known playback issues are clearly identified in the description.

I grade the record 1 as NEAR MINT, and record 2 as NEAR MINT -.  Both records are almost completely free of even the slightest superficial marks or abrasions. The original luster is very much intact, and the vinyl shines and sparkles almost like new.  A bit of VERY BRIEF surface noise is present for the first few revolutions of both side 3 & side 4, otherwise plays nearly perfectly.

Cover:

I grade the cover as EXCELLENT - bordering on NEAR MINT, with vibrant colors and NO seam splits.

The following flaws or imperfections are noted on the cover:

·       Light ringwear/rubmarks noted on both the front and back covers.  On a scale from 1 to 10 (1 being the least, and 10 being the most severe), we assess the severity of ringwear as 4.

·       Slight wear noted on top seam - nothing significant.

·        Light crack of about 1 1/2" noted in back cover near top seam.

NO OTHER IMPERFECTIONS ON THE COVER!

-   No split seams

-   No cut-out (drill) holes.

-   No cut-out corners

-   No saw-marks or indents

-   No yellowing from aging

-   No writing

-   No stamps

-   No tearing or chips

-   No peel-off marks

-   No stains

-   No mold or mildew spots

-   No stickers or labels
