ARTIST: THE BEATLES
TITLE: THE BEATLES aka 'The White Album'
LABEL: APPLE PMC 7067
LOW STARTING BID AND NO RESERVE
This is a very nice copy of this iconic 60's LP with a number lower than 100,000. Although this copy is not mint you will not be disappointed with its overall condtion and the audio quality of the LPs. It is a numbered UK top opening mono first pressing complete with 4 photographs, poster and 2 die cut black inner sleeves.
This is a first press copy with matrix numbers XEX 709-1, XEX 710-1, XEX 711-1 and XEX 712-1. The stampers are Side 1 - 1, HR; Side 2 - 3, HH; Side 3 - 3, HR and Side 4 - 2, HG.
The VINYL: Side 1 EX, Side 2 EX, Side 3 VG+, Side 4 VG+.
The AUDIO: All 4 sides with no appreciable deterioration in sound quality - NO groove wear, NO hiss, NO intrusive crackle, NO skips, NO jumps - altogether a very nice mono listening experince. I would grade the sound overall as EX to EX+.
The LABELS: All EX to near MINT.
The GATEFOLD SLEEVE: Numbered 0095576. The cover is really very nice and graded close to near MINT - lets say EX++. There are not many better around after all these years.
The BLACK DIE-CUT INNERS: These are usually torn and worn but this copy has very nice inners with no seam splits and importantly no tears round the die cut holes. I would have to grade the inners as at least EX.
THE PHOTOS: All four photos are EX to near MINT.
THE POSTER: The lyric foldout poster has not been mounted and has no pin holes or tape marks but it has been folded and unfolded resulting in some wear to some of the folds. I would grade this as VG to VG+.
THIS IS NOT A MINT COPY BUT YOU WILL LOOK HARD TO FIND A NICER ALL ROUND COPY CONSIDERING THE QUALITY OF THE VINYL, COVER AND CONTENTS.

BUYER INFORMATION
Please note that unless the play quality is specifically mentioned records are graded visually. I aim to describe the visual appearance of all items accurately using the standards below which are based on the UK Record Collector Price Guide. The highest grade I use now is NEAR MINT ('UNPLAYED' if still sealed in shrink wrap or occasionally full MINT but only if the provenance of the item suggests this to be correct). Records graded EX+ or EX++ would probably be called 'near mint' or 'mint' by most sellers. Please READ THE ITEM DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY and study photographs to avoid disappointment later. I will refund only on items which do not conform to the description and standards set out here.
GRADING SYSTEM
NEAR MINT: The record appears to be in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and other inserts are perfect. For MINT grading see above
EXCELLENT: The item has been played and may have some light surface marks but there is very little, if any, lessening in sound quality. Cover and contents have slight wear.
VERY GOOD: The record has been played quite alot but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Cover and contents show some wear.
GOOD:The record has been played many times and the sound quality has deteriorated noticeably. The cover and contents are often damaged.
I use EX++,EX+,VG++,VG+ as subsidiary gradings. Unless the record is extremely rare I do not sell items which are less than VG in condition.
Check out my feedback and you will feel secure in bidding but please note I cannot guarantee to describe every detail of the record and cover BUT the grading will reflect the general, actual condition.
