Description
For auction the Beatles classic 1968 UK 1st pressing (STEREO) double Vinyl album ... The white album! serial number No, 0340204 with its original black inner sleeves and poster! ... the four prints are not present but can be obtained elsewhere on ebay!
PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY!
Condition. the gatefold laminated TOP LOADING flipbacked sleeve is in a VERY GOOD PLUS clean overall condition, with no damage but creased at bottom right front corner, the spine is clear and both loading edges are sharp and unthumbed. and the embossed BEATLES LOGO and serial number are clear to the front panel! the word stereo is printed to the top right rear panel, making this the original and correct sleeve, just some age related handling and mild rubbing marks!
The two original black inners are present, and both grade GOOD condition! The original uk "kiss lips" poster is in a FAIR condition!
All four apple labels hold the SOLD IN THE UK etc. text and are in a superb condition and easily grade EX KT TAX CODE EMBOSSED TO SIDE 4.
VINYLS. SIDE 1. YEX 709-1 4 OH is in a clean VERY GOOD condition with a nice original shine!
SIDE 2. YEX 710-1 3 GAT is also in a very nice condition as side 1. VERY GOOD +
SIDE 3. YEX 711-1 1 MH grades VERY GOOD nice and clean and playtested with no problems!
SIDE 4. YEX 712-1 G HP grades VERY GOOD+ all four sides have been play tested and sounded great in STEREO on my TECHNICS DECK and CLASS AA amp with MISSION SPEAKERS, and a nice overall shine to the vinyl is retained, all discs lie flat on the turntable with no warp or dish effect! ... these discs are in a very nice clean shape with a handful of light markings overall, their are two long stylus scratches on side 1. but plays through fine!
i use uk record collector mag gradings for vinyl which are .. EXCELLENT .. the record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. the cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
overall then a nice original uk 1968 1st stereo pressing of the white album which the previous owner had from new! .. please note that the discs will be packed separate from the sleeve to prevent seam splits!
Overall a nice original example of the hard to find STEREO version of this classic album with a nice number, and buy with confidence.... i usually get my gradings right (see feedback!) ...or your money back!
