Description
MEGA RARE!! Beatles “White Album” LP. Original 1969 UK. STEREO ***WIDE-SPINE***WIDE-SPINE***
Very earliest FIRST PRESSING!! ***Number 0513063***
Up for auction is this rare 8mm WIDE-SPINE issue of arguably the greatest album ever produced by the Beatles. This wide-spine issue is the earliest FIRST PRESSING issue off the press.
This album has of course been played and shows some light indiscretions only both to the outer cover and the vinyl. BUT, I must stress that these anomalies are only slight and the sounds are quite superb. Otherwise this is a great shape album of superior quality. Not the usual stained and battered rubbish you might see on offer.
COVER: EX+. (STEREO logo on reverse). Just some slight bruising to the corners. All lamination is intact. Slight discolouration towards the spine, but nothing serious. Some slight rubbing on the spine. Otherwise as nice as you would want with a deep clean gloss.
VINYL: Just literally one or two very minor light scuffs are present which do not affect the superb quality of play. Still retain their just pressed glossy sheen and are perfectly flat with no warps, skips or jumps. Graded: a very strong EX++/NM. SIDE 1 + 2: EX++/NM. SIDE 3 + 4: Just one or two only minor scuffs. EX++/NM.
LABELS: Superb (all) Just a couple of light spindle trails. No writing. “Sold in the UK” etc.,
POSTER: EX+. Very clean. No splits or writing.
PHOTOS: All Near Mint.
MATRIX NUMBERS: SIDE ONE: YEX-7067-1
SIDE TWO: YEX-7068-1
SIDE THREE: YEX-7069-1 SIDE FOUR: YEX-7070-1
STAMPERS: SIDE ONE : 6 GDR
SIDE TWO : 3 GDG
SIDE THREE: 1GH
SIDE FOUR: 1 GR
INNER SLEEVE: Two Black Originals. The usual odd nick or slight tear to the die-cut centre. Otherwise very good with no splits to the sides.
AUDIO: Quite superb as you might expect from vinyl as good as this.
To sum up. This album is in great shape. Far, far better than most you will see or be offered. The sounds are superb and truly classic.
**THIS IS A MUST HAVE ALBUM***
This rare album does not surface very often, so don’t miss out. Grab yourself a large slice of great musical history - and enjoy!!
