Description

On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Beatles called 'The Beatles (more commonly known as 'The White Album') and is a 1968 UK Stereo 1st pressing!!!! THIS IS THE 1968 STEREO 1ST PRESSING AND IS IN GREAT CONDITION!!!!  IT IS ALSO 100% COMPLETE WITH ITS ORIGINAL POSTER, RECORDS, 4 COLOUR PRINTS, ORIGINAL BLACK INNERS AND WHITE 'NUMBERED' TOP OPENING GATEFOLD COVER!!!!  BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP EVEN MORE SPECIAL IS THAT IT HAS A MEGA LOW NUMBER ON THE COVER!!!!  THE NUMBER IS -0003934 AND IT IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND A WHITE ALBUM WITH A NUMBER AS LOW AS THIS ONE!!!!  CERTAINLY WITHOUT ANY DOUBT THIS LP WOULD HAVE BEEN PRESSED WELL BEFORE RELEASE AND WOULD HAVE BEEN IN THE SHOPS ON THE DAY OF RELEASE!!!!  ANOTHER INTERESTING POINT ABOUT THIS WHITE LP IS THAT IT HAS A 'KT' TAX CODE ON BOTH RECORDS (VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS LP) AND ALL LABELS OMITT 'AN EMI RECORDING' TEXT.  IT IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND A WHITE ALBUM WITH A NUMBER THIS LOW - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the ORIGINAL Stereo UK 1st pressing from 1968 and is in GREAT condition!!!! This is an ORIGINAL 1968 1st Stereo Pressing with DARK Green Apple Labels, a 'KT' tax code on BOTH records, 'Sold in the UK' text, and a TOP opening numbered (0003934) laminated Flipback cover. The records are pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The matrix numbers are YEX 709-1, YEX 710-1, YEX 711-1 & YEX 712-2. The mother and stamper codes are 6/MO, 1/GM, 3/GRG & 1/GDA. The Cat. No is PCS 7067/68 on the ORIGINAL DARK Apple labels (see picture) and is a Stereo 1st pressing!!!!  All the tracks are Pure quality Beatles at their best!!!! Any fan of The Beatles, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!

The record labels on BOTH records are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a few light spindle marks!!!! The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and I will grade each side in turn visually and give a play grade and overall grading at the end.  Side 1 has NO scratches, NO hairlines, 2 or 3 MEGA light scufflines and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  Side 1 must grade Excellent(Minus) if not better!!!!  Side 2 has NO scratches, 2 or 3 light & NON sounding hairlines, only 2 light scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  Side 2 must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!!  Side 3 has NO scratches, NO hairlines, 2 VERY light scufflines and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! Side 3 must grade Very Good++++ if not Excellent(Minus)!!!!  Side 4 has NO scratches, NO hairlines, only 3 or 4 light scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! Side 4 must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!!  ALL SIDES RETAIN EVERY BIT OF THEIR ORIGINAL SHINE AND HAVE A 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!!  It is great to find that the playing of the records is as STUNNING as the visual!!!! They play with NO nasty loud pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!!  Sides 1 and 2 have NO background noise AT ALL and play SUPERBLY!!!!  Sides 3 & 4 only have some VERY low level background noise (only on the run on grooves - virtually lost in the music) and still play VERY well indeed!!!!  BOTH records have NO distortion AT ALL and play with STUNNING crystal clear sound with booming bass, and NO groovewear!!!!  The records must grade overall (playing & visual) at Very Good++++ if not better!!!! A BRILLIANT SET OF RECORDS!!!!  Believe me these records are NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! BOTH records also come in their ORIGINAL Black inners which are in STUNNING condition with NO rips, NO tears and NO feathering!!!! IT IS VERY HARD TO FIND INNERS IN THIS CONDITION!!!!  The poster and the 4 colour inserts are also in STUNNING condition with NO rips, NO splits, NO writing and NO tears!!!!

The Gatefold 'TOP OPENING' Low Numbered Flipback Laminated Cover is in GREAT condition - though not perfect.  It has NO tears, NO splits, NO rips, NO writing, and NO edge wear!!!!  However there is some wear & grubbyness to the spine - though all the side words are still readable & there is NO splits!!!!  There is NO ringwear, NO record impression, NO grubbyness, and only some VERY slight general yellowing (MILES better than the usual heavily yellowed examples that often turn up)!!!! There is some typical corner wear - though there is NO splits to the corners.  The cover also has some creases (mainly to the edges & corners)!!!!  The opening edges are still VERY straight looking with NO rips!!!!  Even the inside of the cover is in GREAT condition with NO writing, NO damage to the flipbacks, NO grubbyness, and only some VERY slight yellowing!!!! The ALL IMPORTANT Low number on the cover front is VERY sharp looking with NO wear!!!!  The laminate over the raised writing of 'The Beatles' is still UNSPLIT with only some VERY slight grubbyness.  The cover does also have an area of light water staining on the top front edge, and another in the top left corner.  There is also a thin 'graze' on the reverse of the cover.  IT IS IMPORTANT TO NOTE - that whilst all the above sounds like alot, there is NOTHING 'terrible' on this cover AT ALL (NO rips, NO tears, NO writing, NO splits) and it simply shows average storage, and usage for its age. And of course it is SERIOUSLY RARE with this MEGA RARE LOW NUMBER!!!!  The cover must PROPERLY & ACCURATELY grade Good++++ if not better and is INCREDIBLY rare with this LOW NUMBER!!!!   WHITE LPS ARE INCREDIBLY HARD TO FIND WITH A NUMBER AS LOW AS THIS ONE!!!!  AND WHILST THIS ONE ISNT MINT - IT IS 100% COMPLETE, HAS A GREAT SET OF RECORDS, A STUNNING POSTER, CARDS & INNERS AND A QUITE PRESENTABLE MEGA RARE LOW NUMBERED COVER!!!!  SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!

HAVE A LOOK AT MY PICTURES - I DO MY BEST TO SHOW THE RECORD FROM ALL ANGLES AND MAKE THE PICTURES AS CLEAR AS POSSIBLE - THERE IS NOTHING TO HIDE!!!!
