Vinyl: EXCELLENT Condition (overall EX, with side 4 a touch below this)

Sleeve in  EXCELLENT++ Condition

The records have been little played, and display very light wear, with very shiny vinyl. A few very light surface marks only over the 4 sides, one short, light hairline midway through side 1, and very light surface scuffs to side 4 but audibly there are no playing problems whatsoever. White albums do not usually turn up in this condition! No writing anywhere on the labels (which are SUPERB), inserts or sleeve. The sleeve is in Superb EXCELLENT++ condition, beautifully clean, and with no laminate wrinkling or creases and with minimal wear to spine. One of the best sleeves I've seen in a long while! No impression to note from the heavyweight vinyl, no creases, tears or repairs. The black inner sleeves are also about the best condition you will find, with no tears, no splits, minimal creasing, no damage to the centres. Incredible. It even comes with one of the original, and extremely rare plain white dividers, and they never turn up! Extremely hard to find like this!!  QUITE A STUNNER making this, along with very nice vinyl, a highly collectable copy of a classic album, one of the best of all time, in my opinion.

Recorded at Abbey Road Studios and Trident Studios, London, England between May and October 1968.

THE BEATLES (generally known as "The White Album" because of its cover) was a sprawling two-record set, highlighting the distinct personalities in the group as they matured and moved further away from each other. With the four Beatles playing like session men on each other's songs, the making of the album was fraught with tension. John Lennon's songs included a bitter take on people who read too much into the Beatles' lyrics ("Glass Onion"), reflections on loneliness and alienation ("Yer Blues," "I'm So Tired"), and the avant garde sound collage "Revolution 9."
George Harrison's songs offered black humor ("Piggies") and tender sadness ("While My Guitar Gently Weeps," with Eric Clapton on guitar). Paul McCartney provided both light, lyric songs ("Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da," "Honey Pie"), and rockers ("Back In The U.S.S.R.," the explosive "Helter Skelter"). Ringo Starr made his solo songwriting debut with the goofy country/ska lilt of "Don't Pass Me By" and sang the album closer "Good Night."
