CONDITION REPORT & PHOTO GALLERY AUDIO Overall graded as VERY GOOD(+); this has been completely play graded from start to finish at volume and all sides played through nicely overall with a bright, clear and crisp audio.
There was some background crackle in places and occasional light clicks and pops here and there, but nothing that I felt was particularly intrusive in the main.
The main exception to this was right at the very start of 'Dear Prudence' where seven loud successive pops could be heard caused by a feelable scratch along the grooves. Unfortunately, this also causes at least one small jump and possibly two (I couldn't be absolutely sure). As this occurs right at the start of the song, its impact was thankfully negligible. Also, and as usual with this LP, 'Goodnight' picked up a lot of static for some reason.
Overall, though, I felt that the audio was really good on the whole and the records provided a very enjoyable listen.
VINYL (VISUAL): VERY GOOD; the vinyl has retained a nice shine but does have light scratches and surface marks as expected for this grade.
All four labels look great. Bright and clean with no writing, rips or tears and just some light spindle marking consistent with the records having been played.
SLEEVE: EXCELLENT; the sleeve is a super example and remains very white. Just very mild ring wear + some light indentation marks here and there. Very little creasing at all. There is the light indentation of the word 'Diamond' to the centrefold but this is barely noticeable. 'The Beatles' is clean and clearly embossed to the front.
There is minor feathering to the opening edges. The spine looks great with all text still clearly legible and just a touch of laminate lift/peel.
Overall, the sleeve looks very nice indeed and is a great example.
POSTER, PRINTS & INNERS: The poster is in superb unused shape and grades as EXCELLENT(+). It ranks as the best that I have seen. Very little signs of handling and no splits at all. Looks wonderful.
The 4 prints are all in equally superb unused condition with just the lightest signs of handling; EX(+) again.
The original black inners are both in as good a condition as I have seen. Both have just light wear and one a 6cm split along one side, but overall really nice. I will provide new inner sleeves in addition.

PAYMENT & CHECKOUT
Please remember that your bid is binding.
I reserve the right to cancel bids from buyers whose previous feedback ratings are poor.

GRADING

Unless otherwise stated, all of my records have been play tested before listing using a Rega P3-24 turntable with Ortofon 2M Blue cartridge & stylus. I describe honestly and accurately but please bear in mind that I am only human and such things are always subjective. I tend to grade records conservatively and believe that my feedback speaks for itself.

Please take confidence from the fact that I have been a collector myself for over 20 years (please check my feedback as a buyer) and know only too well how disappointing it is to receive an inaccurately described record.

I also grade visually using a strong halogen lamp.

I use the Record Collector grading system as shown below.

POSTAGE / SHIPPING

I post worldwide and pack all records in custom made (stiff) card mailers and add extra packaging inside to ensure a safe delivery. I will provide a protective polythene sleeve and the record and inner will be removed from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits in transit. I want your record to get to you in the condition that it was when it left me.

For any records that come with printed inner sleeves, I will also provide an additional plain inner.

As a general rule, shipping will be discounted ie. I lose money on the costs of buying my packaging. I do not profit from this; please remember that my costs are not simply those shown on the stamp!

CUSTOMS DECLARATIONS FOR OVERSEAS ORDERS: Please note that for overseas orders from outside the EU I am obliged to complete a customs declaration and must enter the true value of the package's contents on the declaration. It is the BUYER'S responsibility to ensure that all import duties are known and paid.

Please send me a message if anything is unclear and I will be happy to help.

RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.

POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
