Description

On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Beatles called 'With The Beatles' and is a MONO UK 1963 pressing!!!!  IT IS EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND A MONO PRESSING OF THIS LP IN THIS CONDITION - ESPECIALLY WITH A MEGA RARE 'E.J.DAY' COVER!!!!  BUT THIS ONE IS VERY VERY SPECIAL INDEED AND IS EASILY THE RAREST POSSIBLE MONO VERSION OF THIS LP!!!!  I WILL EXPLAIN.

WHEN PRESSINGS OF THIS LP BEGAN BEFORE RELEASE IN 1963 - IT WAS NOTICED THAT THE CREDITS & SPELLING WERE INCORRECT ON THE LABELS AND COVERS.  THE TRACK 'MONEY' WAS GIVEN THE INCORRECT 'JOBETE' CREDIT, AND THE TRACK 'REALLY GOT A HOLD ON ME' WAS MISPELT ON THE COVER AND THE LABELS.  THIS WAS MISTAKE WAS REALISED QUITE QUICKLY - BUT ALREADY A LARGE AMOUNT OF PRESSINGS HAD BEEN MADE WITH THE INCORRECT CREDITS.  THIS WAS IMMEDIATELY CORRECTED AND THE MATRIX NUMBERS ON THE RECORD ALMOST IMMEDIATELY STARTED TO RISE FROM 1N/1N - EVENTUALLY ENDING WITH 7N 7N (WHICH THE MAJORITY OF 1963 MONOS WERE PRESSED WITH).  HOWEVER FOR AN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNT OF TIME THE CORRECT CREDITS WERE PRESSED ON THE LABELS AND COVER BEFORE THE MATRIXES WERE CHANGED AND THIS IS WITHOUT ANY DOUBT THE RAREST POSSIBLE MONO VERSION OF THIS LP!!!!  THIS LP STILL HAS THE 1ST PRESS 1N/1N MATRIX ENDINGS - BUT IT HAS THE CORRECT 'DOMINON BELINDA' CREDIT & 'GOT A' SPELLING (ON THE LABELS & COVER) AND THIS IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON A 1N/1N PRESSING OF THIS LP!!!!   THE MATRIXES WERE CHANGED ALMOST IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE CREDIT/SPELLING CHANGE AND ONLY AN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNT WERE PRESSED LIKE THIS!!!!

IT IS ANOTHER IMPORTANT POINT TO MENTION THAT FINDING THE CORRECT 'GOT A' SPELLING ON A GENIUNE 1963 MONO COVER IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE (NEARLY ALL HAVE THE MISPELLING) SO CLEARLY THERE MUST HAVE BEEN VAST STOCKS OF THE MISPRINTED COVERS WAITING TO BE USED UP.  AND IT IS A VERY IMPORTANT POINT TO MAKE THAT THIS IS A GENIUNE 1963 COVER AND NOT A LATER ONE.  PEOPLE MAY NATURALLY THINK 'HOW DO WE KNOW THIS A GENIUNE 1963 COVER, AND NOT SIMPLY A LATER 1960s SWAPPED ONE WITH THE CORRECT SPELLING?'  WELL IN THIS CASE IT IS VERY EASY TO PROVE THIS!!!!  THIS LP COMES WITH A MEGA RARE 'E.J.DAY' COVER WITH THE 'EARLIEST STYLE' OF 'FLAT FLIPBACKS' - EXACTLY THE SAME STYLE AS USED ON THE 'EARLIEST' 1963 PRESSINGS OF 'PLEASE PLEASE ME'!!!!  E.J.DAY CHANGED THEIR COVER STYLE IN 1964 TO THE MORE CONVENTIONAL 'SOLD FLIPBACK' TYPE COVER.  AND SO THIS PROVES WITHOUT ANY DOUBT AT ALL THAT THIS IS A GENIUNE 1963 COVER AND COMPLETELY ORIGINAL TO THIS LP!!!!  IT IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND A GENIUNE 1963 E.J.DAY 'FLAT FLIPBACK' COVER WITH THE CORRECTED 'GOT A' SPELLING ON THE COVER BACK!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN BRILLIANT CONDITION AND SO HARD TO FIND LIKE THIS!!!!  THIS IS EASILY THE RAREST POSSIBLE MONO VERSION OF THIS LP, AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND WITH AN E.J.DAY COVER - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the ORIGINAL UK MONO pressing from 1963 and is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! This is the ORIGINAL MONO Pressing on the Yellow & Black Parlophone Label, 'First Published' Text, an MT tax code (VERY early tax code indeed), NO 'Sold In The UK' text, 'Parlophone Company' edge text, CORRECT credits & spelling, 1N/1N matrix endings, a LARGE 'MONO' on the cover front and an EARLIEST style E.J.Day Flipback Laminated cover!!!!  The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The matrix numbers are XEX 447-1N & XEX 448-1N.  The mother and stampers are 2/RRL and 4/GGH!!!!  The Cat. No is PMC 1206 on the ORIGINAL Yellow & Black Parlophone label (see picture) and is a 1963 MONO pressing!!!! All the tracks are Pure quality Beatles at their best!!!! Any fan of The Beatles, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!

The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO writing, NO wear and only a few light spindle marks!!!! The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only 2 or 3 VERY light hairlines, 2 VERY light scufflines and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find that the playing of the record is as STUNNING as the visual (with only 1 absolutely MINOR exception - see below)!!!! It plays with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!!  The sound quality overall is simply AWESOME with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!!  The only VERY minor point to mention is that there is a brief moment of background sound just before and even more briefly just after the track 'It Wont Be Long' - though the track itself plays VERY well.  The record must grade Very Good++ if not better!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL Emitex 'poly lined' inner sleeve!!!! The MEGA RARE 'Earliest Style' Flipback Laminated 'E.J.Day' MONO Cover is in STUNNING condition!!!! It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only a few light creases (cover is still VERY flat looking), VERY shiny laminate, NO yellowing AT ALL, only slight corner wear, and NO writing!!!!  The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated back is in STUNNING condition with NO writing, NO grubbyness (apart from a couple of VERY small grey areas on the spinal flipback - though this is UNDER the laminate and has to be from manufacture), and NO yellowing!!!! Amazingly this cover back is 100% FACTORY WHITE - and I have NEVER EVER seen this before on an E.J.Day cover!!!!  THE BACK OF THIS COVER IS AMAZINGLY 'WHITE' LOOKING!!!! There is NO splits, NO rips, NO tears, NO stains, and NO writing!!!!  The cover must MEGA strictly grade Very Good++++ if not better - though most would grade FAR higher - just look at the pictures!!!!  THIS LP IS EASILY THE RAREST POSSIBLE MONO VERSION OF THIS LP AND IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND WITH AN E.J.DAY COVER - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS SERIOUSLY RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!

HAVE A LOOK AT MY PICTURES - I DO MY BEST TO SHOW THE RECORD FROM ALL ANGLES AND MAKE THE PICTURES AS CLEAR AS POSSIBLE - THERE IS NOTHING TO HIDE!!!! It really is a GREAT looking LP and it is truly rare to find any copies of this MEGA RARE Beatles LP!!!!
