Mega rare original UK first pressing on the
DARK GREEN APPLE LABEL Released in 1969 the catalogue number is PMC 7070

First press matrix numbers are YEX 715-1 & YEX 716-1 with incredibly early stampers with 2 at 9 o'clock and GR at 3 o'clock on side one and 1 at 8 o'clock and GR at 2 o'clock on side two and it does have the "SOLD IN UK" text on the label. The sleeve has the 2 red lines printed on the reverse(see photos). There is a contemporary price sticker on the reverse. The record comes with its correcr first press die-cut black inner and first press "Garrod & Lofthoise " front laminated flip-back mono sleeve.The unlaminated rear has the two red lines above and below the text.

Seriously rare this is one of the HARDEST BEATLES UK issued LP'S to find . At the date of its release in JANUARY 1969 MONO was being phased out and this is the last official mono LP released by the band. In fact most copies were "special order" only as stereo was now the universal choice.

SIDE 1 MINT Superbly clean with no trace of spindle marks, No hole wear
SIDE 2 EX++ Just a few wispy spindle marks BUT you have to look really carefully to spot them, No hole wear

COVER
FRONT EX+ Fully laminated with no lifting though slight discolouring but as this is a lamimnate it should clean up nicely
BACK EX Unlamnated with a couple of light marks. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING SERIOUS.;

EDGES

TOP. EX Complete with only a pinprick of wear.
BOTTOM. As above
OPENING, Some feathering of the opening.
SPINE. No breaks with all printing perfectly legible. Minimal wear.
CORNERS Only the very smallest of wera at the top and the bottom opening

INNER SLEEVE

The black inner has 2 tears from the centre downwards to 5 & 8 o'clock but is COMPLETE and with a little patience can be repaired.
