THE BEATLES - YESTERDAY AND TODAY - FACTORY SEALED
Gorgeous condition
Late 1960s/Early 1970s issue
******************************
Up for auction is a factory sealed copy of the Beatles' 1966 Capitol Records release, Yesterday And Today. This is NOT a butcher block pasteover copy of the LP.
This sealed LP is, for all practical purposes, in factory new/mint condition. It has two factory breathe holes in the shrinkwrap on the front of the LP and two on the back. There are NO cutout holes or writing anywhere on this LP. It is beautiful. (See the pictures below). The shrinkwrap along the mouth of the jacket is COMPLETELY sealed and sharp. The shrinkwrap is smooth and crisp all around. There are no rips or tears in the shrink along the spine, front or back.
The slick is perfectly centered on the front, and the "File Under" designation at the upper right-hand corner is clearly visible along with the "stereo" dot.
******************************
There is a very slight "push" to the bottom right front corner. It is more noticeable from the back. Perhaps one eighth-of-an inch of the cover's corner has been exposed. (Please see the picture below). It is barely noticeable at all, and I assure you, it does not detract from this LP's beauty. There also appears to be a slight "push" at the upper right hand corner. There is a more noticeable "blemish" on the front, as you'll notice in the picture. It appears on the LP's front, at the very left hand side of the front slick. It appears to be a risidual effect of some shelf wear, but does not appear anywhere else on the cover. In fact, the sleeve doesn't look worn at all. Even the marks themselves don't really look like shelf wear marks. They simply look like two marks on the cover, underneath the sharp shrinkwrap on the otherwise crystal clean white cover.
******************************
This LP is a later Jacksonville pressing, featuring the number "16" by the RIAA symbol on the jacket's back bottom. The cover is constructed in the original Capitol Records style with a cover slick over cardbaord and does NOT feature the RIAA Gold Records Award on the front.
This is a beautiful collector's piece. You will not be disappointed. I have a PERFECT E-Bay rating, so please bid with confidence!
There will be no reserve bid on this item, so please bid often.
