BEATLES Yellow Submarine LP FIRST BRITISH PRESSING NM VINYL!

Cover---Front cover is full-gloss.  A small area of sticker residue is present at the top left corner.  A few wrinkles are also present.  “Nothing is real” appears on the front cover, which did not appear on U.S. copies.  Back cover has the trifold flaps construction of the 1960’s British covers.  The two red lines distinctive of first (and early) pressings are present.  These are missing from 1970’s British covers.  A little yellowed from the decades.  Light to moderate dirtwear is present, not bad.  Because of the super high gloss of the front cover wrapping around to the back cover, the spines rarely split on these.  These seams and spine are bold and muscular.  No breaches even thought about after 50 years.

Vinyl---Blinding near mint.  Full stop.  Okay, some hairlines in the trail-off on side 2.  Guaranteed to turn your photograys dark upon inspection.  Unbelievable punchy sound quality and stereo separation.  I play-tested this one!  (Tip: turn the balance of your speakers to the left channel, and listen to George’s guitar in “It’s All Too Much.”  There are guitar licks that get buried in the entire mix that pop right out at you!)

Labels---Both labels have the tax code disclaimer, consistent with first pressings in Britain.  “An E.M.I. Recording” is present on both sides.  There are readily-seen spindle marks on both labels, almost certainly due to someone’s dark photograys after inspection, but they are not deep by any stretch.

Inner Sleeve---The original black inner sleeve is present.  It is in good, but not great condition.  There is a die-cut label hole on one side only.  There is tearing around this hole.  (See photos.)  Left seam and bottom seam are intact, but the right seam has a center split just under two inches long.  There is moderate creasing outside of the LP outdent.  Your original black inner sleeve will ship empty and outside of the album cover, and your original Yellow Submarine British LP will ship in a separate generic white sleeve.  This will avoid further damage from occurring to the original black inner.

(Please note that due to time constraints, I have had to stop play-testing my vinyl.  However, I am happy to by request.  As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.  Thanks!)
