Beautiful copy of YESTERDAY & TODAY 2nd State (UNPEELED BUTCHER COVER) Capitol LP #ST2553 (Stereo Version)
Ringo's "V" shape of shirt is clearly visible through the paste-over/ Also has ORIGINAL SLEEVE
NEAR MINT CONDITION -- Only very minor flaws along the edge from removing the disc.
**This album has been in our collection since being purchased NEW in the 60's from a variety store in Oklahoma City.**
There has never been any attempt to remove the paste-over cover. In fact, the album was played only once or twice and then stored in it's partially torn, but original shrink wrap, which has the original price sticker on it. This has kept the cover looking great.
As in other online listings, it is difficult to have a photo which distinctly shows Ringo's shirt, but it is clearly visible when looking at the actual cover.
**Copies of this album with this cover have sold for well over $1000 in lesser condition. **This is truly a wonderful collectible and a great investment!!

Use the FREE Counters 1 million sellers do - Andale! On Feb-01-06 at 17:32:56 PST, seller added the following information: Additional photos have been added below to show a previously unnoticed flaw. There is a small (about 1 1/4 inch) split along the bottom edge. It is a clean split, and looks like it could be easily repaired. We attempted to show this by pressing the sides together in one of the photos. We are trying to be as honest as possible about the condition. This album has been barely used and could have happened when moving the record to a different cabinet or when taking photos for this listing.
