You are bidding on an incredibly nice copy of this record -- one of the grails of Beatles
L.P. collecting. The Butcher covers were deemed inappropriate and pasted over withe a more appropriate graphic, leaving the "Butcher" covers hiding underneath. This "Second State" cover has never been peeled, and shows no attempts to do so. The only thing rarer than this is teh First State covers, which go for anywhere between 5,000 and 10,000 Dollars.
This copy is gorgeous inside and out. The cover art is basically perfect, wiht clean, bright graphics and only the very slightest wear. A small mark is visible next to the song titles. Ringo's V-Neck can clearly be seen over to the right of the trunk. All edges are clean and strong, with a clearly legible title on the spine. The back cover shows very slight top and bottom ring wear and some slight soiling but is genrally also clean and bright. The butcher graphics, obviously, are pristine below the sticker that hides them, should you choose to find out. The record's RIAA # is 6.
The vinyl itself is in VG+ condition with only a little slight wear to the end of side 1. This is Matrix number T-2553.
Don't pass up this rare collectible in such excellent condition - these are dissappearing fast, espescially ones with absolutely no evidence of a peel.

We ship carefully, removing records from covers and packing all LPs with bubble wrap inside of cardboard record mailers to avoid any in-transit problems.
