Description

- Vinyl: VG+/VG++ play grade *although vinyl has a few superficial blems and scuff marks, it plays excellent with minimal surface noise disturbances
- Cover: VG+ *the actual "steamer trunk" paste-over is quite nice and jacket has light seam wear on top/bottom and is open on corners less than 1/2"; top half of spine seam is separated open; back cover has overall general wear and color 'mottling'.
- Notes: Original gold "Capitol '66; Sounds Great" inner sleeve included and in excellent condition with all seams intact
- Info: This is a second stage paste-over of the notorious "butcher cover," depicting the quartet in butcher smocks, handling cuts of meat and pieces of dismembered baby dolls. Note the faint darkened triangle of Ringo's dickie under the white steamer trunk paste-over in the 2nd photo. You can also see part of the darker cover underneath on lower lh photo. As for the album itelf, Capitol assembled four songs that had been removed from the British version of Rubber Soul, the singles "Yesterday," "We Can Work It Out," and "Day Tripper," a pair of B-sides, and offered a "preview" of the upcoming Revolver album (released seven weeks later) in the form of "And Your Bird Can Sing" and "Doctor Robert" (neither one in its final mix).(amg)

- All records packaged in new custom record boxes. Records are sleeved, removed from jacket to prevent any seam splitting, and then shipped inside a poly album sleeve (unless a sealed record album or box set). Double albums are packaged the same with the second LP put between the gatefold jacket.
- Shipping discount is available when buying more than one item. Request a quote prior to purchase, or purchase multiple items and wait for an invoice with combined items shipping charge.
International Shipping:
- If sales transaction total is over $50 I will not be able to ship First Class Mail International since there is no insurance or tracking information available. You must then select either Priority or Express Mail International as shipping option, unless prior approval to ship First Class is received.
