"AIN'T SHE SWEET" ORIGINAL CANADIAN MONO PRESSING ON ATCO IN NICE SHAPE!
A highly collectable album from early into the Fab Four's domination of the Canadian and US record charts and the hearts and minds of millions of people! This is the Canadian issue on Atco. It is in mono, and to my knowledge was never released in stereo in Canada and I don't believe it was ever reissued either. This LP wasn't in Canadian stores much after it's October 1964 release. I think by that time most Beatle fans had realized that these were early recordings, most with Tony Sheridan singing lead. The gem of all these recordings was "Ain't She Sweet" because the lead vocal was by John Lennon. I haven't seen too many copies of this LP through the years and would assume that the Canadian issue is as hard to find and rare (or rarer) as the US pressing. This version is also similiar to the original US mono release as the back cover does not list Tony Sheridan as being involved in any of the songs credited to the Beatles.

Grading:
Cover: VG to VG+ with some small wear on top and bottom of front cover and some very slight ring wear. There is some age wear on white back cover with a small name written in the top left corner on back. Back cover reads "Distributed In Canada By London Records Of Canada Ltd."
Record: VG minus with some wear and slight scuffs, nothing too bad and it plays OK.
Labels: VG to VG+ , flat black Atco label with silver print, some spindle marks but still very clean and attractive with no writing or stickers. Nice!
Overall, this is in fine VG condition. This record isn't seen very much and it is still a nice quality addition to your Beatles collection!
