A lot of experienced collectors claim that this pressing is far rarer than the black & gold pressings, I'm a little unsure myself but one thing is for certain is that this is one hell of a rare record and is rightly up there amongst the most highly sought after of all Beatles records.
This is a fine example which is in Excellent condition. The labels hold the small 33 1/3 and show only very moderate signs of previous use by way of faint spindle markings to each side, it is pretty obvious that this has been cared for and not been played to death.
Side one of the vinyl holds the 1P stamper and side two holds the very earliest 1 G stamper. Both these stampers place this record right at the beginning of Beatlemania at a time when stereo format audio was still very scarce.
The vinyl surfaces themselves still hold a fantastic deep shine with only light marks to speak off to each side none of which effect playback which is simply superb.
This comes with it's original stereo 'gold' sleeve which is nice enough as you can see from the pictures although it does have the usual wear to the flipbacks, also the Emitex inner sleeve is still present and is in excellent condition having done its job very well over the years.
